I fail to see how that fixes anything though? Its not like you get double SKY money, you just get double the squad on the payroll to try and get rid of. And fans on both sides will quite rightly raging so even less likely to buy tickets.

Only possible thing is the merged club gets Craven Park as a much needed asset on the books, but as we know its in a poor location and even if some our fans are ok with a merged team playing there its a trek to get there from West Hull.

All that would happen is two new sucessor clubs would pop up and start from the bottom.

I meant pop up at a very low level like League1 with a consortium of local businessmen. Hull would still get a few thousand playing out of Costello with the ex academy players. Id rather go watch that than some monstrosity playing in Black and Red out of Craven Park.
