Just had an eight day turnround why do they need a rest?

Westy to give him an extra week for knee to settle down. Even if he popped it in still have tissue etc soreness. Chance for manu to have a week rest as last year some said we was running players into the ground. Now we have a full squad we can rest up players if not fully fit

This as got us getting hammered written all over it, every time we get a bit of confidence in this squad , something bizarre happens

Agree. There's a strong argument that our relatively injury-free 2016 season meant that we were poor at the back-end of that season (along with the effect of the wembley cup euphoria). Also think that Saints last year had a similar problem and so Holbrook is trying to use his squad more this season.

Wont be considering resting anyone including Westerman but its likely Ellis will be on the bench so someone will miss out

Reflecting on last week, perhaps Westy should be protected rather than rested, imagine if he did suffer a recurrence with more serious side effects, the sensible thing to do would be to sit it out, and make sure he’s not suffered any damage.

Always a fixture that will live in my memory taking me back to June 2010 when I went to my first Hull home match since leaving England in 1966. An absolute classic match with Hull coming back from a 20 point deficit to win by a drop goal in the final minutes by 27-26. Houghton and Washbrook started and Radford played off the bench.

Disappointed it is not being shown live on TV here. Am predicting a win for us. Hope it's another great game.
