Quote: Tinkerman23 "How you think Shaul would go in a Castleford team wigan etc? genuine question?'"
I'd say -Yes.... he would improve...
Castleford/Wigan have support staff that can upskill players, we dont...
Richard Horne is being earmarked to return to be attack coach, but during his previous tenure as skills coach,we didnt see any noticeable difference, in support play, dummy runners, speedier accurate passing etc etc..
For mine, we need an external appointment...
I remember Jamie Shaul stating on a post match interview on Sky, that during training, most of his passes go over the fence....
For mine, its not just Shaul, our teamwork, ball in hand needs massive improvement, 15 metres from the opposition try line, we look like a rabbit caught in a headlight... its either a Sneyd speculative kick, or give it to Albert...
If we could reduce our unenforced errors ball in hand, this would reduce the defensive load on the team, therefore we would have more stamina during the game..and probably the season..
A previous post alluded to, we scored in top 3 tries in 2017. How many came from a Sneyd speculator??
AP might change the playing personnel, but unless the staff personnel is changed, I cant see any improvement in our attack as a team- anytime soon...
