| More or less got our itinerary sorted now, booking flights in 3 weeks. We are planning Sydney / Wollongong / Melbourne / Sydney / Gold Coast over three weeks. Going to be epic.

| There is a talk at the KC, Thursday night 6pm - hosted by Andrew Earle. On the official website under the NSW section.
Originally only for his customers but now extended to those travelling independently - at least that's how I read it !
Personally I would like a bit more consideration than I have felt so far, just retired so lucky enough to have an extended trip !!
Really frustrated with the match ticket situation - you are entirely limited to a robot nominated 'best available' - must have been programmed by the Apprentice team as best concourse for us are the Wigan end !!
Be nice to see a goodly number of 'independenters' on Thursday, who knows what might be available.
Going to be great, can't wait.............

| Might be an idea to check meeting time before going.

Neither game will sell out, likely I'll get them when I am in Aus.

| Just booked Etihad flights from Manchester out 6th, back 21st so plus 2 more black and whites in the travelling army - what is the general consensus about location of accommodation please? I was going to stay around Wollongong until after the first game then head to Sydney but just renewed our passes and someone at the shop said it's really quiet at Wollongong so I'd be better based in Sydney - any ideas please?

| We are staying in Sydney for the duration and hiring a car so we can drive down to Wollongong on the Saturday. I hate all the messing with changing locations so thought this was out best bet. Mind you, my hubby is a Leeds fan so it looks like we'll be having a stop over in Melbourne on the Friday evening!

| Thanks Karen, we know people staying at both or just Sydney, I was sure I'd seen the trains stop fairly early as getting back to Sydney after the first game might have been tight? Obviously if you're driving, that isn't a problem but I need to have a photo sat on that grass at the WIN stadium with cold beers to send back to the rest of our away game group who couldn't come or can't get into Australia due to previous indiscretions.

| That's mean lol
Hotel booked in Melbourne, looks like Leeds are definitely playing the Friday night!

Were going to the world cup on Monday for a month so only doing 9 nights in February, a long way to go for 9 nights but i can't miss this opportunity, especially at my age !!

| I don't think either option of Sydney or Wollongong then Sydney means any of us will be the only Hull fans in town. If you're going to WC, could I ask which visa you're getting please? I've been on the Australian government website and it looks like there are three for up to three months for visiting for holiday/see relatives - are all ok or is there one specific one to get?

My wife and I are staying in Wollongong in the week between the games - I'm sure we'll see plenty of 'black and white' around the town.
Regarding visas, we applied online and got them straight though - they are eVisitor (subclass 651) and, as far as I understand, are valid for one year and allow up to three-months stay after each entry. Hope that helps.

Rob and me will be going to this, doing parkrun in Melbourne Saturday then flying back up to the Sydney for the double header, then onto Gold Coast for the last week.
