i`m not convinced on Gaskell, seems to have had lots of injuries, if we need to maintain or improve our current
standards then i think we need a better quality 6 than him in my opinion

| Quote: Cardiff_05 "The progress we're making as a club on and off the field requires a greater quality of player than Lee and Lyne.'" Tommy Lee is a current Super League captain, you're not gonna find much better to be a back-up hooker to Houghton. Or are you expecting us to bring in Cameron Smith to do that job?
A lot also thought Yeaman wasn't good enough and he was finished, he's currently the first choice centre in our team.
If this time last year I'd have called for a return of Danny Washbrook, you'd have likely told me he wasn't good enough also.

There would be no point in Motu going to Australia if Gaskell is identified as our answer to 6.
The club have obviously someone in mind and is likely to be South Sea Islander as Knocker has already pointed out

| Even though he's not a big name or played in the halves a lot lately (being used as an interchange hooker) Mortimer would be a decent signing to play at 6 I feel. Although I'm sure he moved to GC to be with his Mrs so not sure about getting him over here

| Let's hope it's not leuluai. Injury prone and never that good at 6 or 7

Lee had his chance, wouldn't think either party would want to rekindle the relationship.
Is Yeaman the first choice centre?

| Leuluai is Saints bound isn't he?
I'd like him as an interchange hooker.
If Carlos did well a stand off, maybe he's the type of player we'd be after.
A pacy stand off is what we need I think. No idea who that is though . Can't imagine Motu would go to Oz if he didn't have a target in mind.

| Quote: *1865* "Widdop has been largely disappointing at St. George and Benji hasn't been the same since he left Wests for Japan RU. I'd rather we signed a centre and played Tuimavave at 6. Not sure who that'd be though.
I wouldn't give Yeaman a new deal, although now Whiting's gone wouldn't the full 'long service' extra £50k be all on Yeaman? Could end up with good value for money I suppose.'"
Blah blah blah, cant believe people seem to value your opinion on our youngsters , potentional signings etc. All I get from you is poor judgment. Westermans potential for the last 4 years, hadley an international 2 years ago, houghton stifling our attack, yeaman past it, htw the next hull and england 6. You not endorsing the signing of widdop or benji, really makes me hope we do. Because no doubt our forum scout, potential spotter , will be wrong again

| moses mbye would be great, he is a running 6 as well. been impressed with him this year. wage demands would rule him out probably, and anyway he's believed to have signed a huge new deal with the dogs
a more letfield choice would be kodi nikorima.

2 more years at Melbourne. Realistically there's not really much chance of any SL club signing a 1st choice NRL half these days
