Yeah if you remember KR had a record attendance for opening game last year but it soon fell off sharply. Probs some freebies involved there as well.

Good to see +10,000 for 5 out of the 6 games this weekend, no matter how they were achieved. Unfortunately, rugby league is not blessed with billionaires bank rolling the sport, so the more people attending, the better. Hope it continues.

Shenton out for most of the season after Boudebza tackle results in ACL damage. Really like Shenton, gutted for him.

boudebza up for 1 or 2 game ban, seems unjust when a player like shenton will miss the majority of the season, i do wish the RFL would grow a pair and get tough like the RFU when it comes to handing out bans

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you haven't seen it, but there was absolutely nothing in the tackle. Unfortunate for Shenton but a total accident.

i haven't but will judge tonight if they show it, not just saying this for boudebza, but it should apply to all, the rfl are to0 weak handing out punishment or punishing players for something then the next week another player gets off for doing the same thing

Can't disagree with that, however we can't start handing out bans that match the duration of any injury, there are so many other factors that come into play.

could be a case of powell shouting his mouth off and the rfl appeasing him by putting the charge in!
