| I will be going before i fly home on Tues,
having watched three live games this season due to living abroad I can only go by what i see and that is so far I cant see past a serious hammering at Saints I really cant .
I wish it were different but we look shocking, and thats not because we got beat by Rovers, on the day they looked a decent side to be fair, but we look shellshocked when we get the ball

| Sounds like Naughton is in. Interesting to see how he goes and if, as someone said, his signing was a mistake.

Wonder who he replaces? Shaul presumably?

Seems the most likely move. Big chance for the lad.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "Seriously?
Nothing against the kid and he could yet develop into a good centre, but he looked way out of his depth. Not big enough and probably not quick enough either. As SS said he cost us one try and very nearly another but just managed an ankle tap on Goulding who had left him for dead.
On both occasions Talanoa trusted Logan and stuck to his winger when he could have made the tackle himself. When centres defend like that all it does is cause indecision in the winger, who ends up jumping in when he doesn't need to because he doesn't trust his centre to make the tackle.'"
this is where yeaman is so useful to the team. his winger generally trusts him, and can stay out and concentrate on his opposite number. a lot of people have a go at yeaman but it seems that he is one of those players who you miss when not in the team - from a defensive point of view that is. he also brings one of the most important aspects - experience

| So it seems we've got another "wonder boy" youngster in Shaul who is now just not good enough anymore...
Did he come back too soon? is he still; injured? or just out of favour?
After Radfords comments on Thursday about people below him not performing I am starting to wonder if he has lost the dressing room too...
As for the St's game - I think it will be close - maybe even we sneak it!!

| Rankin is never a 6, surely Abdul should play there, at least he's got a top kicking game. It was embarrassing watching Rankin toil there on Friday. Lets be honest, if all we can do is roll down the park, play for territory and hope the opposition make a mistake, surely you go with Abdul who has the much better kicking game.
Injuries are fairly similar really in terms of numbers of 1st teamers missing but they are still full of pace and footballers all over the park as they showed in tough circumstances against wigan.
The ONLY thing in our favour is if they play turner again in the halves cos he looks like any of our previous halfbacks and simply doesn't know when to release the ball. He was so uncomfortable there on Friday. If wilkin had been there saints would have won that game, no doubt. That is the only crumb of comfort i can find.

| Two teams coming off derby defeats, two teams with injuries and both off three day turnarounds. I believe you have a chance of getting a result at Saints but it will be difficult. Realising that of course any victory will give Radford more time at the helm, a position a lot on here prefers he isn't given. Predict a close, low scoring game with home advantage seeing Saints home.

| First time this season I've thought our team looks pants on paper, as well as just been pants. Saints squad still looks strong
