Undoubtedly.

We need to build a genuine, not token, pipeline of talent. Radford's record in giving youngsters chances and integrating them in the first team is good and further evidenced by our representation in England academy squads and inclusion in the Portugal camp.

Obviously we have experienced leaders in Eliis, Mini and Pryce, but I like that Radford has specific expectations of players in the group like Watts, Green, Rankin who need to be pushing their games too to become established senior squad players.

We needed half backs. We've signed two and have a couple coming through who could well make it.

Our disrupted pre season last year wasn't ideal, releasing Holdsworth in November for example, things seem way more settled this time round. 31 players of 34 have been in for a month, and our conditioning already seemed pretty good last year.

The launch and look of the new shirts has been really good, which should shore up some income lost from fewer pass sales.

Of course Radford's record last year wasn't acceptable, no one is in denial about this. Whether he's the man, I don't know. I worry about our cover for Houghton and lack of support play.

But I do think Pryce and Sneyd are a better prospect than Horne and Miller. That Mini will give us more than Tuson. That we have more/better options in the backs. That Westerman will be better for his International selection. That we'll see homegrown players being used proactively. And that Radford will be better for a year's experience.

Looking forward to 2015 - 6 weeks today is the first pre season match - let's hope it's one worthy of our 150 year landmark and as many fans as possible get behind the club to support this. COYH.

Seems sensible because some people don't get paid until the last day of the month and others may have been working yesterday.

Thanks to an amazing response from the FC fans in the last few days I don't think there is much chance of us being behind last years total by we're finished, as Adam said in the interview "It has always been a concern as to how we can get to new supporters but we must be doing that because the ones we have lost we have managed to pick up elsewhere".

Five hundred new season ticket holders so far, so we should at least hit last season's total despite what desparate Rovers supporters claim.'"

While the 500 new passholders are clearly very welcome additions, its obvious we have lost a lot of existing passholders, otherwise the club would be talking about 'record breaking' sales.

So it looks like we'll see some new faces on the terraces next season, but the club still needs those who have drifted away in recent years back.

They'll come back again if we look like winning something or there's a day out at Wembley to be had. Fingers crossed.

It was. We were in about 2 o'clock. Four passes were sold in the 5 minutes we were in there - the two customers before me and my two renewals.

It seemed everyone was clutching an application form. I bet a roaring trade was done yesterday - I hope so. Be interesting to see the reports next week.

good news - it will be a big marker laid down if we can buck the trend of declining sales of the last few years (and not just us, most other clubs in superleague too).

Some people, like me, may defer buying the kids passes until after Xmas too.

I've got another kids pass to buy, but I won't be doing that until 21 Dec. 2 shirts and some assorted merchandise too.

If we can hit 8000 passes after a dire, boring season, imagine the heights if we win a trophy next year? Plus the Mighty Tiggers are fast dropping - so we can pick up some stragglers there.

FC TILL I DIE COME ON U HULL:26533.jpg

I think there is a real feel good factor in west hull about rugby the amateur game is doing outstanding after Xmas why not bring out another section of 150 passes for one final push, always amazed at the loyalty of the FC fans I bet Koucash wish he had come to Hull instead of Salford he must be gutted with there return well done to the fans and the club hope the players can make it a season to remember this great club really deserves something special a014.gif eusa_clap.gif

Just picked up mine today. Very busy at the tills. Plus with this years pass we get a free smelly car sticker (I kid you not).
