We have had players supposedly coming (Chase) and then not coming

Wingers: Talanoa is on 2 year deal isn't he? He and Lineham obviously first choice but feel that having someone that is solid with SL experience as back up while Lancaster and Stark are still eligible for the U19s would be handy

Second Row: Thompson seems to be doing a good job at prop and while Hadley is establishing himself he and Tuson have been in and out of the side. Pitts is a solid player (don't recall being out injured ever) who has filled in at 13 when Westerman has been out. Plus we don't want to be relying too much on Ellis

I think Talonoa's second year is optional. If the club sign a top winger then he might be surplus. Crookes is contracted to 2015 I believe so if we need a back-up with SL experience to punch a woman or get sent-off then we're sorted.

As for Westerman, the thought of him being injured makes me feel ill. We'd be nothing this year without him. Whiting could cover but it wouldn't be the same.

I wonder how far away from the first team Jordan Abdull is.

A gamble we may have to take. No doubting his quality, he's exactly what we need. Plus he's looking for a SL deal.

The 10 out will be Heremaia, Horne(Retiring), Crookes, Colbon, Watts, Carvell, Pitts, Arundel, McDonnell and Kent.

Has Watts been that bad. He never seems to be able to keep a momentum going at a club. I thought he would be a top prop at one time.

Agree , A quality player I'd like to see over here , I'd also take Marika Koroibete from Wests , Playing in the NSW cup atm , He's got a great try scoring record and would be one of the fastest players in SL . Shillington looking for a move also ?

3 very good signings imo. Keep Horne as back up to Shaul/Rankin/Campese and put HTW on dual contract at Donny, who could be brought back to cover as a last resort.

Is he? He'd be a great signing. Probably would get another good NRL deal somewhere though.

If campese is available he would be a great signing and certainly worth the risk, he had two badly hit season in 2011/12, apart From that his injury record isn't that bad, he would be the best half in SL IMO.

No way to Collis, is a decent enough player, without being anything special, but has real injury problems.

I think we will stick with the 3 centres we have now and look to promote another youngster maybe Jack Logan.

Out of the 10 players mentioned to be going by Ellam, I can't argue with any of them except maybe Watts, but even then I wouldn't be devastated. I personally think we need,

A prop, maybe 2 if Watts goes.
Two halfbacks to replace Miller and Horne
A backrower who can break tackles, a player in the Manu style.
A winger depending on on how Lancaster goes.
extra coaching staff.

Sums it up for me though id have Talanoa and Lineham with Lancaster as back up

Would love to see Campese here plus maybe that kid from Leigh or go all out for Sneyd

One big oversea half and an English based one, O Brien from Warrington is an option aswell as the other two mentioned.

You don't need world class halfs if you have a top pack and good coaching structures. Wigan are the perfect example last year they won the double with Smith and Green and while they are both good players, they aren't world beaters.
