As the opening thread I will comment to you - some of us have had I thoughts on him for many seasons but we have listened to Yeamo Yeamo so many times when he has not even scored the try . The chickenhas come home to roost.
My Partner always says if we have to play him - and he is not a bad player - put him into the pack cos he maybe wont have to pass to often.

He's too small for the pack.

Fair enough - To small for the pack , cant pass , so send him to baby class to learn. At the end of the day he should not be first on the sheet. Stick him on the bench cos that is his role from today.

I think the bench is to good for him judging by his appearances over the last 3/4 seasons .

When's Yeaman's contract up? He shouldn't be offered a new one.

I don't think that's fair at all. Yeaman has been lauded as a local hero on here for years and has been totally untouchable in the eyes of most. A small handful of us have either never rated him or have seen the writing on the wall for years. Since 2006 and Judas leaving we have seen a gradual decline in Yeaman's play. He has never been intelligent enough to know when to pass and when not to pass. I attribute this down to a reason (not the whole reason) why we lost Briscoe.
IMHO he has gained international honours at a time when lets be honest England have had a lack of quality at .
Add in his comments in pre season that he has been at odds with previous coaches and his game has suffered and I fail to see why it is that he commands a place week in week out.

For me this week will be a massive test of Radford's man management skills. He has a trio of which are not high on confident and how he handles that may well make or break him. He also has a hooker who was changing games last month with his role off the bench, who is now playing at half back and as a result is not nearly as effective. He has another untouchable legend of the club misfiring in the halves. A half back who has not played competitively for absolutely months sitting in the stand signing autographs and getting paid a fortune. Sorry if I missed it but where is Pitts? At a time when we are down on forwards he seems to be discarded. (if hes injured I stand corrected). Add in a rant all be it probably needed, by the coach in a public way and things could become destabilised very quickly if Radford is not careful. Id not consider it a crisis yet, but defeat on Friday and possibly the following week to Splashthecash's team and we could be looking at a very long and costly season again.
Oh how the early season optimism can soon drain away. We had almost forgotten pre-season!!
