Carvell definitely out - Feka a possibility at best.

I agree that is a concern. In isolation this weekend is kind of a no-win situation; if he's still left out it doesn't look good for him, whereas if he plays behind a beaten pack he'll probably struggle. I'll be disappointed if he's brought back and then ditched again after only one game where the pack don't lay enough of a platform, hopefully he'll be brought back in for a run of games starting this weekend.

The Paea video. I always think the reaction of players is a useful guide to assessing an infringement. The complete lack of any sort of reaction from a single Cas player says a lot IMO. Not even an appeal for a penalty (which would have effectively sealed the game by wasting the last minute kicking for touch).

Thompson to push up to prop again. Arundel can do a spell at 2nd row with Tuson pushing up to prop if need be.

If Feka is out and we are going to push Tuson to prop I would rather go with Hadley.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Not injured, just people think Rankin is a better option due to his link up play and better hands.
Rankin certainly looked better than Shaul on Sunday.

| The game against Cas proved the opinion that tbf most of us hold, that Heramaia & Horne in the halves just doesn't work in the long term.
Against Bradford, who are decimated by what's going on at the club and defensively inept as a consequence, H & H found it easy to create and find space leading to a healthy victory. The following week they're faced with a well organised and drilled side playing with confidence, and basically look like headless chickens, giving the team no direction what so ever inside the attacking zone.
Now i'm not saying that Miller will definitely be any better (although I think he will) but why stick with something that's proven to not work? And with it take away our greatest impact.
The reason Rankin looked good when he came on is he has pace and took the ball to the line, this is something Miller has and does. For me it's just a no brainer.
I think a combination of 1. Rankin 6. Horne 7. Miller looks pretty good.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Heremaia needs to be spelled with Houghton off the bench as our hooker will need to do a lot of work in defence to make up for the lack of size in the forwards due to our prop fiasco.

That's what I can't get my head around. Of all the possible halfback combinations we've got, we seem to be favouring the one with the most evidence that it doesn't work. Might as well try something relatively untested that [imight[/i work, rather than stick with something that has continually shown that it doesn't.
