| Well as a lover of sport in Hull (West Hull that is) I hope they go all the way and bring the cup back to Hull.

I do agree mate. After all the hardship some people in Hull have had to put up with its good for them to have something to shout about.

| Used to go in the Boothferry Park days but never ever seen them at the KC.
Great for their fans and the city.
Hope they can do the biz.

No but then again Sunderland average around 40k for home games so you'd expect more applications from them.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

| Considering that, apart from the odd derby game, we've never attracted a 20,000 plus crowd to the Kc. For some on here to sneer at yesterday's attendance is, at best, a little disingenuious and at worst simply ignoring a fundamental truth.
We couldn't even attract 5000 for a play-off game last year, so I don't think we are in a position to be too high and mighty about this.
As for City, good luck to them. I'm getting a sneaking suspicion this is going to be their year (and I never believed I would be saying that in my lifetime). A team from another sport has reached a Cup semi-final, which ultimately has no direct influence on whether we have a good season or bad.
The reaction from some people on here has ranged from the merely churlish to spitting bile and blood. don't understand it personally. Why not congratulate them on their good fortune, City playing in an FA Cup Final doesn't alter our season one iota.
Love, Peace and understanding people.

| As a Hull FC and Sheffield Wednesday supporter I'd like to wish Hull City all the best. Please beat the dirty red and white ******** in the semi final. When Wednesday won 3-1 at the KC all the City fans I met were very gracious about it. Hope Hull City win the cup. Don't care for Allam, but as someone said, its about the city and the fans.

Why are you a Hull FC fan and a Sheffield Wednesday fan?

Simple, cos I'm from Sheffield ! Rugby Leagues my favourite sport though and I attend every FC game home and away, cept Catalans, but hoping to do that one in the future. I know there's FC fans on here that support Everton,Spurs, Man Utd, Man City,Liverpool,as well as City but I'm probably the only Airlie Bird and Owl ! I don't drive either so its pretty minty getting over to Hull by train for home games but my pay back is the West Yorkshire and Lancashire games. Needing a game fix yesterday went to Wakefield v Catalans in my Hull FC shirt of course, and got some numpties saying ' why aren't you at your own teams game ? ' lol

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Might be slightly tricky for City to qualify for UEFA as Mr Allam hasn't been injecting rlhard cashrl to pay off debts,
but we knew that already.

Did you actually read the article? They might have a problem if they qualified again the year after, but they would be fine for the 14/15 season.

| Yes, I did read the article, and maybe the word qualify was wrong, but there are issues regarding finance which was the point I was trying to highlight.......
Quote: "However as Hull are by no means certain to qualify for UEFA competition in 2015/16, it seems more likely that some of the prize money may be withheld if the owner did not inject the equity.'"

I have been a Hull City and Hull FC fan since the 1940's and left the UK in 1966. I only attended 1 FA Cup Final and chose to support Sheffield Wednesday in their match against Everton in 1966 which was a classic. Unfortunately you lost in a 5 goal thriller. Appreciate your wish for success in the semi.
My dad and his father were at the last Hull City semi in 1930 but unfortunately I will not be there for this one.

Are you planning on going back if they make the final Freddie?
