Was in Broughys new shop near the ground when Dean Hoggard said about it there was tears in there eyes it was so sad. Was wonderful when the crowd gave him applause rather then silence. True inspiration to me as a fan god only knows what loved ones & true friends are feeling right now. RIP Prekkie.

Couldn't believe it when I read it earlier. The word hero is banded around too much, Prekkie truly deserved such a title! Stomach cancer for 7 years (after only being given 6 months!) then going on to raise half a million through countless marathons and other charity events!
And as a player I bloody loved him! Will never forget this try! youtu.be/KVADlNTionU (skip to 3:09).
