I think in all honesty my general apathy towards the game is a problem. It's far to sterilised and sanitised compared to many years ago. It's simply a war of attrition. The off the cuff play is almost dead. Probably why Chase is so well liked as he is the only one that tries anything different. The reality being that he isn't actually that good. Simply better than average and prepared to do something slightly different. If he was that good the NRL would have snapped him up.
The standard of refereeing is very poor. Again on Thursday Mr Ganson showed that he fails to understand the off side rule. (I am not using it as an excuse for anything that happened on Thursday, but the Giant was clearly off side and the RL world knows it) Sadly he will continue to make howlers and his colleagues will which baffle all of us.
As for the WC its almost a forgone conclusion which is why the country as a whole has apathy towards it.

Maybe we simply need a good off season free of RL and then some convincing friendly wins against lower opposition to reignite the Bel13f.

Got my passes the other day before the Gentle out scenario. I've never bought my passes based upon who is or isn't coach or who is or isn't playing. Other people differ - that's fine we all make our own choice. I'll probably get to just over half of the games owing to where I live and the difficulties attending on Fridays. Whilst I hear the argument that if people just keep buying things will never get better, my own feeling is that if people don't buy the problem will soon be one at a catastrophic level.

Fair play it came through for you. I'm glad you're buying a pass that's three I know of that have been sold.

We can have a stand each

My decision to buy a season pass won't be based on who we sign or who the coach is, I buy one cos FC are my team. Money may be an issue for buying a pass or not living local or working shifts etc. Who the coach is shouldn't be a factor.

I'm getting one! Again. But it is becoming more of a chore than an enjoyable experience IMO
