| Unfortunately none of them will ever make it as our mate Tarquin now lives over in Australia.

There's probably 4 or 5 better. Young lad at Beverley and one from Holderness Vikings your lot at Wyke have a couple too.
Great batch coming through. How's your little star coming on? Was it Tyler?'"
I took him on a rugby camp day this summer, very impressed by him.
Tyler not with us now... Got a couple of really good lads, beat every team this year and only lost twice, been a good season for us! Good coaches you see

I have seen it all before, what tends to happen though is they often level out around 12-14yrs, and more so at 16, kids catch up with size, development, skill & confidence. Not going to dispute what you say though & hopefully they will kick on, plus I think the coaching has developed over the years for the young ones and is suited more to the modern game. Mind you often get late developers mainly when talking about forwards admittedly.
Great watching the young ones though, I miss it & hopefully you are indeed watching some future stars even at this tender age.

Not really, he was just as fast as lightening in comparison to his peers.

I love watching it, there's some great talent about. There's a couple of teams that take it a bit too seriously, and winning comes before development for those it seems. But on the whole it's great, and my lad has already made mates for life. Can't wait to go through the full system with him, and I'll probably be talking about 10 different players in 6-8 years!
