Always, always use the A1 to get into London, less stressful and the journey is easily broken up for those that want to stop at almost any point.
Not only that but it is 30 miles further via the M1 going into North West(ish) London'"
The A1 can be just as bad. Trust me I use both regularly for home games.
I expect the team are happily installed in their hotel right now despite any worries fans may have erroneously had.

I've been plowing up and down the A1 from Hull to the South for over 20 years, on the balance of probability and personal expereince the A1 is by far the easier route to use for getting into the capital at pretty much any time of the day or night.
though the M1 can oft be a totally free and easy journey at 12am- 5am if you're tired then the monotonous endless road without having to change gear is an easy situation to switch off. With the amount of on/off roads plus roundabouts on the A1 this reduces this by quite a bit, also you have the off roads which make accident situations easier to deal with as traffic can be re-routed far easier.
I'm sure leaving at the time they did will be fine as I'd be certain they'd be on the Northern outskirts of London anyway, given cost and possibly even somewhere to have a run out in the morning.

I'm assuming you meant Ben Crooks? Otherwise I guess you missed the picture of Tom with a 'cast' up to his knee?

Playing instead of Shaul I heard. Shaul too similar to Shaun Briscoe for Gentle's liking.

| Well done to everyone that went along, the players can be in no doubt about the strength of support behind them.

| It was indeed slightly chaotic but I actually enjoyed that. The players, if they were not sure before, will have some idea of the level of raucous support they will have behind them on Saturday.
Cant wait.

| if we manage to get to Wembley again in the next year or so, lets hope they have some barriers lining along the grass verge, some younger kids may not have seen anything much today, like above it was a bit chaotic and some adults don't really care if young kids cant see

| I get the feeling that this is going to be better supported than the 2008, don't remember this level of excitement, maybe as expectations are higher this time, definitely has more of the same feeling of Cardiff 05 to me!!

in 2008 we had a dire season and awful injuries, the run up to the final was dominated by speculation about Dykes' injury and we faced a Saints side who were winning trophies for fun.
This time our season hasn't been spectacular, but its been better than 2008, the injuries aren't that bad (for a contact sport) and while Wigan have been a strong team the last few years, they have fluffed a few chances to win silverware.

How many times have you won at Wembley?
And also I do rate the current Rovers line-up. Soon to be bolstered by quality acquisistions from abroad,
You'll need a telescope just to see next season we'll be so far ahead of you.
