Mcdermott was more gracious in defeat then yourself saying he felt Leeds played neither great nor bad and gave Rovers some decent wraps. He said we gambled on really quick line speed and that it paid dividends.

I'll take Mcdermott's opinion over yours any day of the week.

Radders was halfway on with the kicking tee someone 'on-field' decided otherwise.

It went how I expected - we didn't run as hard or tackle as hard as we have been doing of late. In fairness it was a short turnaround after the derby and there was the obvious distraction as well. What I hadn't quite bargained for was Salford's completion level which was superb. They deserve credit for that alone.

And kicking game which was excellent, was impressed with Salford tonight.

Gentle said it was at 95% in the first half. I'll give credit for how good it was, but with a gripe that I didn't think it should have been quite that good with a few forward passes ignored/missed that should have meant possession being turned over.

Fages looked good for them I thought. A bit Dobson-esque with his right-to-left passing, but looks talented.

Not great in attack but defence held up well again. Salford had plenty of possession is good field position and. Manage to hold them to two scores.
Obviously need to take it up a notch or 5 next Saturday but we've shown how we can raise our game for the big boys.
