Yeah, and will be 35 before the season is out. Hodgson another who can't be far away, so could well be Myler and O'Brien in the halves with Ratchford their permanent fullback before too long.

Sad that it has turned out like this, he's been very complimentary about the Club, staff, players, fans and the city as a whole.
I wish him very well in his recovery and hope he and his family can come back one day and catch a game. He'll be very welcome.

Not bad at all. Then there are the Clark rumours too. Could be a changing of several of the guards in their pivots, and the best thing for them is that they all have a good few years in them. Slightly reminiscent of the Sinfield/McGuire/Burrow emergence that has done so well for Leeds.

I actually think that it's now probably in Wire's best interests to let at least one of Briers or Hodgson go. They don't tend to play enough games to justify their likely wedge (although Hodgson is having a surprising run so far this year), and if they do both get fit it would be a bit harsh to leave either Myler or Ratchford out given how they've been performing. Hodgson is also looking increasingly iffy defensively IMO.

Was hoping at the start of the year that he would have a fresh start and be able to build a good half back pairing with Holdsworth but wasn't to be. When I saw that he was playing against Widnes I was glad that he was getting a chance after not playing since Leeds and hoping that he would have a good game. It wasn't to be but he tried and did leave some good memories of his time at Hull FC, for me anyway

Hope things get sorted for him and that we don't rush into replacing him. I'd rather go with what we have than get the wrong player again

Realistically, there's only two options. Go with what we have or try to organise a loan signing.

Was thinking the same. May seem harsh on the player to be dealt with by this way but clubs have a responsibility to look after themselves as well.
