Yes actually I go for the Kia based on experience as I have a had a Merc myself and it has to be one of the worst cars I ever had. Wasn't cheap to buy, maintain and not that reliable. Then had another as a lease vehicle through work which got changed after 12 months as was again unreliable and always needed work on it. Mercs are overpriced, overhyped and generally no better than your average vauxhall/ford etc

And in a lot of European countries are as common as Taxi's as Lada's were in Hull at one time.

So, why would picking one over the other on the basis of price when being offered one for free be significant?

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club." Adam Pearson, FC Website 23-09-2011: |
|
| It's irrelevant what cars they sell. Its all about Hull FC getting the best deal.
Also having a blue chip company on the shirt will not get us anymore league points, fans, media attention etc.
I'm also guessing that the P&O deal wasn't mega bucks anyway, going by all the loop holes they jump through just so the don't have to pay their staff minimum wage.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "What are the chances of genuinely being in the market for a Hyundai in Beverley the very same week they're announced as our new club sponsors? Sounds like a tragically fabricated "lost sale" to me. I'm sure our very good friends at Minstergate Hyundai can laugh about its ludicrous transparency
Why Beverley? Minstergate are off Clive Sullivan Way. There is a prominent Rovers connection at the heart of the operation. Unfortunately, he couldn't persuade the boss to keep hold of his money.

"Minstergate Hyundai will become the first new company to appear on Hull FC’s shirts in six years, with former principle sponsor P&O Ferries set to be unveiled in an exciting new partnership role later this month.
Pearson added, “While P&O Ferries’ role as our main club sponsor has come to an end after six successful years, they remain heavily involved with Hull FC moving forwards."

Some confusion about #hullfc sponsors on the shirts. Club confirmed Minstergate will be on the home shirts, different sponsor for away kit

its horses for courses with cars - not everyone wants a flash motor, sometimes people have more practical needs
they're not really my thing but i appreciate why they would be a good choice, christ! the i30 is even halfway good looking
The i30 tourer is what my eldest lad drives and its a cracking motor, I thought it expensive for what it is but is is absolutely rammed full of gadgets and geek toys!! and he loves it..
My wife told me I had to get rid of the Grand Voyager I drive and buy something less expensive to run... i said i would rather have a wasp pushed up my arris than let go of my Chrysler.... best vehicle i have ever owned and love the column shift.
Had an Omega from new before that and ran that for 7 years till the auto box died on me and it wasnt economical to replace, I chose the Omega over equivalent BMW and mercs due to the build quality!!!
