No, you're quite correct, I doubt anyone will have thought about any of the ramifications of this at all.

| I think the Rovers Season Pass Holders should contact one of the no win no fee solicitors about being mis sold a season pass for 14 home games.

Your not Colin Hutton and I claim £5
If anything it's Rovers who have history of saying NO to FC just to pish them off

'No' is the nuclear option, makes Pearson look the villain and gives Rovers fans an excuse not to turn up for his big cash cow game, which he could do without in these straitened times.
'"
What are you on about? Pearson has already said at the Fans Forum he'd be happy to accommodate you - if the terms were right.
No one in the wider community would have respect for Pearson if he wore a hairshirt and ran round the perimiter of the pitch all match just so he could say "yes". Everyone would expect the arrangement to be mutually beneficial or not on at all. A gimp is not a good look either.

| In all seriousness though will Grudgell and the Club put on free transport to the KC for all his pass holders?

| I really think this will backfire big time, it's a Sky game and I know many Hull fans who wouldn't give Hudge the time of day, let alone £20/£25.
6,000 people will pay nothing (if all the KR passholder come), at an "on cost" of £8 each that's -£48,000, even if 8,000 FC fans decide to go (which I would imagine is the top end estimate) at an average of £20 each (taking into account kids, seniors and the unwashed), that is £160k, minus the on cost and he's left with £112k, after rent/stewarding/policing etc I'd imagine there's not a lot of profit left, and he'll get nothing from the catering.
All this from The Pride of "East" Hull - lol

What you are not taking into consideration is that there are a lot of "fans" who only go to 1 or 2 games a season and those games are derbies. There are also plenty who will say they wont go but have a change of heart at the last minute.

Maybe Hull could organise a big screen in the supportors bar for people who can't afford the expense of watching their team away.

| No idea how the finances will work and to be honest don't really care, it's a bonus for us to be playing at the KC rather than CP.
As for seating as they are the home team they should get the choice, if we get the west and north so be it.
It's a win/win for us.

Impossible to organize. Tickets will be issued from the KC ticket office for anyone to buy. East and South stand Hull passholders will obviously try to buy their own seats resulting in two mixed stands. The police nor the SMC won't have that on that sort of scale.
Short of being asked to prove which team you support when buying your tickets (again, impossible) the only sensible option is to give Rovers West and North and us keep East and South.
Viewing-wise there's no difference anyway, for Rovers to want the opposite would be pure pettiness and "one-upmanship".

Or perhaps if there's a lot of Hull fans wanting to watch the game on a big screen then they could site at another venue in the city.
Any available that day?

| I love how people think they somehow own a seat at the KC. If the fixture is swapped then we are the away team and if Rovers want the South and East stands then so be it, it won't bother me in the slightest. I think the East holds 6k so if Rovers delegate that to the season pass holders and only allow tickets to go on sale to season pass holders first then those determined to get "their" seat will have no chance anyway. The North and Upper West should go on sale to FC season ticket holders first then maybe split the South stand down the middle if it doesn't sell out. I don't honestly know why anyone would get their knickers in a twist about where they sit when the fact is more fans will get to see the game and not get ripped off in the process.

Unwashed? Courting popularity as usual.
First few thousand go free, don't they, under FC's burdensome 'commercial' rent agreement? Your ground rent only works out about £15k per game iirc. We'll have some of that. Covers stewarding too, doesn't it? Very close to being rhetorical questions, admittedly.
It may or may not be a success, under whatever arrangements are agreed, but as the alternative is staying at a reduced capacity CP, I reckon the bar is (unfortunately) pretty low.
