| Let me be totally clear here.
I think the red card was harsh, because moa did not do it intentionally, and the london player went to dummy/side step and lowered his body position, hence the contact being around his face.
But for me if there's anything that made up the mind of the t/j or the ref, it would be that Moa was not in control of the tackle, which made it look "reckless". I've watched it over and over again, I don't think our fans screaming OOOHHHHHFFFFF on the reply/big screen helped.
Heart says NFA, head says 2 match ban.

I am sure the people at Hull who deal with Disciplinaries will be digging into the archives for Morley tackles and others where they have been put on report for something very similar and then got a caution at worst in front of the panel. Be surprised if he is not playing on Friday, but if he isn't we will deal with it.

| Compare it too Tommy Lees tackle and Moas is never a sending off, yes it was hard and maybe hard, but didn't look intentional. And if it was Broncos players would have reacted, they never.

| if moa gets a ban i'd be dissapointed, seen worse offences been put on report, fc should have a good case to argue at the disciplinary, although knowing the rfl we will get scr3w3d unlike the teams west of us!

The point about the comparison with NRL is a good one.'"
SoS isn't good enough, it should be a clear not guilty.
SoS is like a conditonal discharge, it's still a conviction and unless the RFL can prove any intent, he's innocent.

| Just seen it again, still think it was fine and McDermott has it spot on. A hard, aggressive shot and we should not be hounding that sort of play out of the game. Unfortunate that Rinaldi also happened to turn/duck into it at the point of contact, but still not a sending off for me. As has been said, the likes of Morley, Sonny Bill Williams, and our own Mark O'Meley have made their careers/reputations with such hits and are celebrated for them.
Also, it still looked as I remembered it, the London players had pretty much no initial reaction. There was no outcry in the immediate aftermath, even from those close by. Think they just accepted it as a big hit.

| Quote: the artist "seen the replay - he lines him up and hits with the shoulder, but turns away just as rinaldi steps and ducks into it. impact is top of shoulder into head - not an intentional attack on the head as rinaldi has clearly ducked into it. technically yes its a sending off, but there was so much doubt on the field that it should have gone on report. silverwood has had some info from somewhere i'm sure - this is the question that should be asked
also you can hear the hull player (lynch probably) stating that rinaldi has ducked into what would have been an impact on the upper chest/shoulder if rinaldi had stayed upright
overall its more of a non deliberate/accidental/unlucky attack on the head and sending off sufficient will probably result'"
This. Moa pretty much hits him shoulder to neck/chin, but cleans him out. Didn't hear ref tell Moa or Lynch what it was for when asked (maybe he doesn't have to?)
The fact that the reaction to the Kaufusi swing and miss between the players is worse says a lot, but I'm hoping for NFA from the disciplinary.

| I thought it was a great hit, Moa very harsh to see red. London.players don't react until he gets a red then they console him. Looks like shoulder/head together but not intentional attack on the head. Should be no ban and do agree with Gentle that last nights game affected the decision.

If anything, it highlights his mistakes from Saturdays game.

| Just another poor refereeing decision from someone who clearly isnt up to the job of refereeing super league. Not that there are many who are.
