| Quote: Ian P "Just hang on Mo.
I have for some time been advocating losing our coach, however its now only a few weeks left to the seasons end and sacking him now will achieve very little but appease most of us. We have new owners and maybe, just maybe there has been some " interference" from the old board in coaching matters. The new owner has limited knowledge on the game, I know he likes the game and has watched for some time. He is in no position to stick his two pennyworth in like some of our retiring board almost certainly did and Rich may, may just be able to "do it his way now"
This season is now all, but over we can make the eight may as well let Agar have a run at it now and give him until the end of the season to see if things improve or not. There can then be no doubt as to his capacity as head coach, its his team and he runs it with no one sticking there/her nose in.'"
They need to look at it on a purely financial level. Sack Agar now, stick Webbo in charge till the end of the season whilst we sort out a new coach. With a new coach with a proven track record announced just in time for season pass sales.

It will give the club an extra couple of months to find the right guy to take over and make sure they're in place for the start of pre-season. If he waits until the end of the season, he won't be able to take the same amount of time to get his man.

| He'll go without a doubt.
Just a matter of the timing now.

Another season wasted, hopefully Pearson will replace him as Bones said by November so the new coach can work with the squad for the pre-season.'"
That is a woeful stat.
The frightening thing is that if Kath was still here, it still wouldn't have been enough for him to get the sack.

That's the spirit. Have a word with Come On You Ull, will you? He's saying all manner of depressing things on the other thread. It's spoiling my Sunday evening, if I'm honest.

| The fact we even have f***ing James Webster involved with the club is a joke to begin with.
Get Daniel Anderson in, let him choose the set-up with a new conditioner (we looked knackered again after our usual 20 minutes of minimal spark) and get rid of these compromising clowns!

| I feel Anderson would be a great choice,
but we'd have to move fast, as Cas have made him top of their list,
according to media reports.

Did he not go home last time, so his children received the schooling he wanted for them. If so has anything changed [apart from him being not involved in professional rugby] ?

| Get Nobby in for a couple of years while Bennett's contract at the Knights runs out.

| Bennett will never come to the UK. He didn't even want to move to QLD. He has two disabled sons IIRC that he takes care of.
Main thing for AP to consider isn't unstabalising the team through sacking the coach (can it get much worse?), it's stablising the fan base who have become completely disillusioned with the current set up. They need to know that something different is happening at the club and if they don't, some people will be lost forever.
Best thing that could happen at Hull - sack the coach, sign a marquee player and have a good season pass offer (like Hudds and Bulls have had) to get the new era started with a bang. People will know about our ambitions then.

| Who would you guys want to replace Agar then? IMO we should be aiming higher then Noble, who hasn't won anything with a team since 2006. Also if I remember rightly I recently read somewhere Daniel Anderson saying that he WON'T be coming back over to Super League any time soon.

An Aussie that's currently in the NRL. They're up-to-date with all the current systems.
Go on, let's get Stephen Kearney

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| I dont think for one minute that Adam Pearson will settle for mediocrity so its only a matter of time IMO. Wouldnt be surprised to see a familiar face join Hull in a Director of Rugby capacity shortly.
