| No of course we are not happy, but I am even less happy about the Moron who started this thread and every other thread he starts, has posted over 12000 posts and has a severe obsession called antiagariteous and expects everyone else to agree with him, for gods sake get a job!!

| when first appointed I thought it was a natural progression of an up an coming coach.
on his extention of contract on April fools day I thought it stank of desperation.
I was of many on here that after he started to gather his own troops that his true colours would emerge
Only thing was i thought it would be a bit more positive than it has turned out.
Our record against the "Bigger sides" is poor and for the size and tradition of our great club we should be pushing these so called "Bigger sides", (Hudds, Cas, Catalan FFS), and finishing higher.
So in answer to the question. A Big NO.
Solution? I'm affraid I do not claim to be an expert but Agar is not working or achieving what this club deserves and the club has far higher paid people who should be answering that question before me.
All I want is a club who week in week out gives 100%, a coach appointed who can motivate and lead the team to success, and players who play with passion and pride to wear the shirt and unfortunately some if not all of these points seem to be missing.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "What, like him getting the team together the night before the Harlequins away game to discuss how important it was?
Playing on with a shoulder injury reported to be career-ending?
Making 50 tackles a game?
More like the way some of his comments in the press/on the website have been worded, like he's talking down to people or cheapening the influence of his teammates (I'm thinking of the not playing at prop piece in particular). Or similar with a couple of his blogs I've seen. Or the way he appears to have been able to dictate where and how long he plays regardless or form/influence.
I think in some ways he's perhaps put his own desires above the team's, as he seems to have some sort of obsession with proving he can still physically match other players despite his age. I may be wrong, I just detect more than a whiff of arrogance.

| Agar wont improve on 6th and unless he wins the CC should be replaced at the end of the season as he will have taken performances backwards from 2010. Giving him a 2 year extension was a crazy decision as I think almost everyone said at the time. If he goes (which I doubt) I agree with the point made that it should be a clean sweep at all levels of coaching staff.
Fitzgibbon has been a superb player for us in the job he has done over 2 seasons. I just wish that some more of our players were good enough to be arrogant if indeed he is that (which I doubt he is within the team environment). It's a common trait in top sports players like Fitz who have their achievements to back up their behaviour.

I typed the same thing and then chickened out and deleted it! I agree though especially as Agar more or less brought him in to sort discipline out and thereby placed him in an elevated position rather than just letting his past career and seniority win their respect. I can forsee Fitz being desperate to play in the cup game(s) especially , will he play injured? Will that be for the right reason if he does?

| I very rarely come on here any more, only to keep abreast of what is going on, just cant be bothered with all this anymore.
The bottom line is, the club is going nowhere under Agar and the present BOD, the vast majority of fans know this, from the heights of 2006 the club have gone backwards at an alarming rate, we have being conned into accepting mediocrity and that scraping into the top 8 is some kind of achievement. The franchise system and the lack of relegation hasnt helped, what real incentive have the club got when they know they are guaranteed a place in SL and guaranteed income. The club in recent years only seem to be interested in squeezing every last pound out of its supporters, which is no surprise with a marketing man at the helm. Me and my family stopped going last year after supporting the club since the heady days of 79-80, and we know we are not alone, partly due to financial pressures but mainly due to being totally disheartened and disinterested and will not go again until Agar goes or the club do something to inspire me into returning.

Unfortunately, I think that is how an increasing number of fans feel

| Another Agar out thread shocker on a tuesday eh?? LOL
you know wether some like it or not , the coach can only do so much to influence a team and its performance and the rest is where ntheir own professional pride and performance then come into play and over the last few weeks RA had turned the team around slowly into a bunch of guys that were becoming hard to beat and you all know that , that sequence was eneded by a gutsy display against Saints that no one could have had a complaint about and then again against leeds we came up short..
Why did we come up short against Leeds??? well this is why and this is the ONLY excuse there is ...
Leeds for the first time in a wee while fired on all cylinders and did to us what they have done to many over the years at the final whistle however until the players threw the towel in with 10 to go we were holding them in most areas , although not making any inroads.... so what does that mean ???
Our defence is as good as anyone in SL at present but we have the same issue at present we have had for some time and that is a lack of thought process on the island at 6 and 7 and without that it does not make any difference how well you defend you will not score much without it...
Then we lost Fitz who is a leader by nature and at that point we stopped going to our go to players and played 80s style rugby which their pack accepted all match but with their Burrow, sinfield and so on they had thinking going on and movement which we didnt have in the team never mind on the park... lets face it Horne is not an organiser as has been proved many times and Sam was clearly suffering and the jabs not working hence he looked off the pace but thats all we had...
For two seasons or more we have suffered by having no back up halves and so with Long out of the plan we have the same scenario as earlier in the season all over again but this time Sam playing through pain as well ....
which ever way you look at it the result you cant hide from because it was a beating by anyones account but up to 70 mins they were no better than us apart from two bits of brilliance and we matched them without being pretty about it...
as for Fitz, I think it is hilarious to bag him in any way, the guy is a legend and played through some stuff this year that would have ended most players careers, he gets no special help from the club but in fact puts in more even when injured than most do when fit... and even when in his prime he wasnt a line breaker that often but was known as a banger in defence..
I will also say that i really dont give a flying what some think of my posts on here or wether you think this or that it bothers me not a jot , i can honestly state though that i have never wanted the team to lose and try to be positive at all times even when its hard to find positives and do what i can to address that situation whenever posible and put a lot into what i do but it is clear that doesnt fit the remit of many on this site but by nature of what it is on here I cant say that forum sneidiness has much bearing on the team or its performance as you know but gives some an avenue to vent their feelings in open forum, some to vent their anger... and some to vent their shallow lives however me for one thinks RA is the right man for the job , (funny though some think he is cheap i must say) and had he been lucky with his halves we would have a much different tune to that being harped here, thankfully the BOD scrapped the old plan of sack a coach each year and decided to show commitment to a man who has shown a ton of commitment to our club whilst being often openly hated by many fans especially on these forums.
Coaches dont miss tackles, drop balls, go out drinking the night before games etc etc.. RA is clear in how he wants it played just cant produce miracles with no halves, and thats all there is to it ...
so in answer to the question ...Yes RA is the man for the job

It is amazing but not surprising that you (whoever you are) really believe Leeds were firing on all cylinders...even our KR friends believe it was 2 very poor teams...
