| Enjoyed the evening and the concept of the nines, didn't have a clue what was going on mind Thought Cas were the stand out team of the evening. Only marred for me by having to put up with the usual 6 - 8 year old scrotes high sixing each other and calling FC fans scum

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Smailes tweeted that Briscoe caught Fox despite him having a 15 yard head start.

Not sure it was 15 yards but Briscoe certainly out-paced and caught him. Only Fox' momentum made it result in a try.

Jack Briscoe looked quick but he isnt in the same class as his brother. Your number 6, Lewis Brown was good. Think he plays looseforward in the under 18s. Looks to have a bit about him.

| Quote: PAUL M "Smailes tweeted that Briscoe caught Fox despite him having a 15 yard head start.'" That was one of the few FC highlights (very few mind). It must be a massive blow for Fox though.....One year playing against the best in the world for England, and the next, just making up numbers in a very young squad......Then getting outpaced (and out-classed) by YET ANOTHER BRISCOE BROTHER . As I was walking out behind a couple of KR fans, they were comenting on the same thing.... How Fox has 'slipped' from World class to 'Nines' class !
All in all, it was a good night out..... Getting a bit sick of sitting in Craven Park though . There are some great young prospects comming through the ranks for all the teams on show last night. The stand-out speedster for me though was 'The Halibut' (French Ref).....We need him on the wing

| Nines is a great format (much better than 7s) and the event deserved a much bigger crowd.
The 'twist' is that teams have the option to go for a 3 point 'power play' in place of a conversion. However, a failure means the opposition then re-start the game 70m downfield rather than at halfway (for a missed drop goal conversion).
Got to say, Hull FC were a major disappointment. They seemed to lack the composure of the other teams and coughed up a lot of unforced errors. There was 'flashes' from the likes of Chris Green and Jack Briscoe but only Lewis Brown would have been in contention for a 'team of the night'.
Very impressed with a couple of the Rovers players, in particular Liam Salter and Kristian Bell, but arguably the real star was the young Scottish winger, David Scott, who far outshone his lethargic opposite number Peter Fox.
Castleford were the best-drilled side of the night though and had a couple of outstanding performers, Greg Eden and Ryan Brierly in particular.

| Our no.13 has stood out for the under 18s from the footage I've seen - looks a real prospect. Good to finally put a name to him.

wouldn't disagree with most of that but i did think liam cunningham looked by far hull's best player before his knee gave way half way through the 2nd game.

| looking forward to getting down next week - hope it catches on. the new innovation is a good idea, makes it a bit like twenty 20 cricket in that tweaking the rules a bit makes it more exciting, especially if its close.
wonder if they should tweak the number of tackles a bit?

Fox has lost a lot of pace since he bulked up to be used as a battering ram from first receiver.
