anyone who says that was a weak saints team needs their heads testing, that was still a strong line up they put out!

as for ganson, 50/50 call for the penalty on first viewing, but after seeing numerous replays, it was a tough call against us, agree ganson should'nt referee saints game, makes our sport look even more amatuerish!

saying that when we let balls bounce numerous times, you're asking for trouble and we got it!

Ganson got the penalty wrong which enabled saints to level with us but all in all the decisions swung both ways,we should never have been in the position we were in when we were so far ahead but all credit to saints they dont give up.I just wish the back three for hull would make the call and catch the bloody bomb !!

Quote: Saint_Claire "As far as I know Silverwoods kids have Leeds season ticketswhich would lead you to believe he is a Leeds fan. Bentham comes from Winwick, therefore Warrington.

Saints got penalised for forward passes, some of which weren't; the Eastmond one was. Hull scored off the last one. On that basis we were robbed.

Either way, I'm very pleased that a team consisting of first team forwards and second rowers (one playing as SO) accompanied by a team of U20s managed a draw. At full strength we should take some beating....'"

Get over yourselves, like your the ones who get injuries....

You still had plenty of experience out there and lots of internationals, so I don't buy into all this we had a poor team out there because you didn't.

I don't think we can shoulder all of the blame on Mr Ganson. Sure he had a shocker, but everyone on here knows what Ganson is like, so when a game goes down to the wire the chances are he'll give a controversial decision.
Hull went in with a decent 1st half lead due to players individual skill, not team tactics. Once again it was 5 drives and a kick for pretty much most of the game. Saints played simple percentage football from the kickoff in the second half. Nothing fancy - a tactic as old as the hills. When you have so many inexperienced players in the team, its how youre gonna play it.
Hull had no guile to overcome it. A point lost today. We were out-coached.

I'm glad you think so. Seven of our players out there were 21 and under, and Nathan Ashe was on his first grade debut, having been plucked out of the u20s for this game. For us, that was a weakened side because of the number of inexperienced players we had playing at one go.

However, blaming Steve Ganson for the result is silly. Your team had an 18 point lead at halftime. They should have retained it. But they didn't. That wasn't Gansons fault. I don't think we had a single decision in our favour in the first half did we?

Good job Foster missed one of his kicks. Had he not done so, and with that belting penalty kick, we would have won. I think that's astounding. I wasn't expecting us to get anywhere near you today.

You're just bitter because we're a bigger club who win trophies and don't play 2nd fiddle to a 3rd rate football club in a 4th rate stadium.

What are you talking about? Teams come back from half-time deficits plenty of times. The fact Saints played very well in the second half had a lot to do with but then so did a few dubious calls by Mr "look at me" Ganson.
