I think the new tax laws will play a part with the top stars. There are bound to be some British forwards available who would be worth a try. Not maybe top top players but players that could be brought in to play off the bench.

On your first point, I am talking about players who have come up in recent seasons like Gilmour, Hargreaves, Moore, Ferguson, Haurauki etc. We can't expect to sign 5/6 top class players this winter.

On your second point I agree, not sure if Aldous, Green or the others are ready but I would hope they are close.
