We have only had 1 away game! Hardly a bad run is it?
Forget Chase and Orr, we haven't lost a game this season that Widders has played in
Coincidence? We will see.

So we [ishould[/i (your word) beat everyone at home other than wigan and wire?

| Quote: lummy "They may have a weaker side on paper but so did Wakey. How many players from that Wakey side or Cas would honestly get in our side?
Maybe the difference is in the coaching and the fact that they have ball handlers and organisers in every pivotal position and all seem to know exactly what theyre doing as a team because of that. Watch the highlights of their trys yesterday, apart from the two halfbacks, Mathers at FB and the young hooker are in everything.
Cas's away form is an unknown at the moment - but we will have to play considerably better than we have been doing to give ourselves a chance here.'"
That's the point isn't it?
cas have a decent (although by no means great) coach who is able to get his players playing to a consistently good level. We have one who seems to wring the last drop of enthusiasm and skill out of ours

The fact is though that we may well not beat you which is more down to incompetence on our part than anything special about cas'"
You spend more on your salary cap buying players from us, whilst we replace them with better players from our youth squad for free. Local players will always give more to their club and that's a fact. That's the reason not 'incompetence'. That said I love Cas Hull games and follow FC as my 2nd team so i wont take no cheap shots. Let the best side win.

Transfer fees don't count on the cap.

At the risk of being pedantic transfer fees don't count on the salary cap and i'm really interested to see the research about discretionary effort given by a player to their local club versus playing for a non local club..... fact?

Yes, which is what I said originally. Is there a point to this?
The KC should be a fortress for us, it was for most of last season.

He can mention away. I never said we will I just said a club like us should be looking to win most of their home games. I don't see what point he is trying to make tbh

Totally disgaree, and if Rangi Chase is in the mood on Friday he will rip us to bits, bit like he did in our friendly

Yes we did win it, however it was no walk in the park and like I stated Rangi Chase scored for sheer fun on several occasions., also our form since that friendly will hardly have Cas quaking will it...the points shipped past us this season so far is shocking and Cas play expansive rugby.

I'm fully prepared for us to lose on Friday night, but performances in the pre-season friendly prove nothing one way or the other.

Well I suppose you are right, we won the friendly but have gone on to be pants, and Cas lost and are sitting sweet in the league, ...the only consistent thing we can take from the friendly is Rangi Chase will rip us up if he is given the chance, if Quins can put 30 past us how many will Cas manage
