I actually don't think you do appreciate the frustrations I and fellow fans feel, in fact I think you are in a different reality at times with the comments you come out with. You seem to get the impression we are just frustrated with the Wakefield performance but it goes a whole lot deeper than that, just like I alluded to in my first email.
I agree we put in a better performance against Wigan, but that performance is what we should be getting week in week out and not just once or twice a season like we currently get. You also have to admit that against 12 men we should have finished up the winning side.
I do appreciate that you cannot come out publicly and condemn a coach or the players because that is not the professional thing to do. However the comments about uniting etc are not washing with the faithful. We are sick of the same tired old excuses coming out each and every week. You mentioned we made plenty of breaks on Friday against Wakefield, yes we did but why are we the worst team statistically at converting those breaks? When we make a break half the players look startled that we managed to get through the opposition line and the support play is none existent the majority of the time.
You could see certain players were having a mare on Friday but Agar insisted on keeping them on the field of play, however happy enough to waste interchanges that were pointless and not needed at the time.
Surely if you are a lifelong fan of Hull Fc as you say you are then you can see the inadequacies of his coaching, from his inability to raise the team for the "lesser" games to his awful choices of interchanges. The sad thing is I actually believe you and the board are behind the coach and believe he will finally get it right. Whether that is down to stubbornness in admitting you made a mistake or down to not seeing what each and every fan can.
Do you know how much it rankles to be told by Wigan/Leeds/Warrington fans that whilst Agar is in charge you will win nothing. How do you argue with that, especially when you know everything they are pointing out is true. At this moment in time the only supporters in the city who are happy with Mr Agar in charge of us are the Rovers supporters.
I will be there on Sunday because that is what we do, but I won't be at the KC for the foreseeable future regardless of the fact I have a season pass. I do not see why we should bother spending our hard earned money at the club anymore when they are giving us absolutely nothing back.
Maybe I will one day look back fondly on the year 2011 as the year the coach who was slowly killing my club finally resigned or got sacked. I wont hold my breath though.
