The cash you are spending on Morgan, you are mid table at best, yet still no questions asked of him and his ability to take you on to the next level.
Can he honestly stay employed just off beating us?'"
No, but nobody would guarantee him the £1m over three seasons he was demanding.

Cullen is a poor coach and a very horrible man
He lost his best few players at Widnes because of it including Webbo, Iain Morrison, Grayshon etc.
Rat of a bloke.

| you know it makes me spew when i hear folk banging on about Richs personality because he is actually a cracking fella to speak to and very friendly and open to all that care to try... he doesnt go on TV as a pundit because he isnt a media whore despite numerous requests from Sky to do so, its just not his thing at all by his choice
hey when were discussing personalities, jesus H Christ lets talk about tony smith, he makes paint flake hes that boring yet some hail him as Brian FFS, I sat at the same table as smith one wednesday night as a function and I can tell you we all lost the will to live with him ...
I think its time some on here got real and attack his team and job but not the person individually as thats just wrong, because he is actually a really nice fella

I have said it myself, the fact Rich Agar would rather concentrate on doing his job than earning a brown envelope with £500 in it for doing a SKY game is a credit to him.
He does not wanna do tv, so what. Terry Matterson hates it too and very rarely does it for the same reason.
Not heard a guy speak so highly of Hull as a place, Hull as a club and the fans as Agar for a long time. I dont get the hatred towards him.
He is not the one who is ruining the club.

The vast, vast majority of people I speak to don't hate Agar as a person. In fact, I've not heard a single person who has met him say he isn't a top bloke. But being someone it would be nice to have a pint with doesn't make you suitable for the job of coaching a SL side. I think most of the personal comments about him on here, whilst inexcusable, are a direct result of the frustration many feel that he's still in a job after making such an unequivocal hash of it.

Its a Hull thing.. that desperate need to blame someone.... remember the past scapegoats
Rich is a decent fella, who puts in 6 days a week to help his team, if he isnt at training he is watching VT and so on and so forth, I can tell you one thing that is for sure, Rich will never walk of his own accord because he is a fighter and all this hatred towards him will simply make him work harder to prove you all wrong !!
which incidentally i think he will, there are a few changes to the team again at the end of this term which will help again , as always its a build on build situation...
but for those keyboard warriors who think he is an empty head, go along to a training session and watch... or better still tell him to his face because i can guarantee he will not flare up but will talk to you for as long as it takes to show you he is trying very hard indeed...
but hating the man himself is ridiculous because how can you "hate" someone you dont even know???

| Quote: Rock God X "But they [ishouldn't[/i be hard to match. And sixth [ishouldn't[/i be viewed as a good season. Not for a club with the fan base, merchandising revenues, sponsorship and salary cap space that Hull have. We have exactly the same amount of money to spend on players that Leeds, Wigan, Saints and Wire have.
I could understand this viewpoint if we were still at the Boulevard getting average gates of 7,000 and selling a thousand replica shirts a season. But we're not. Off the field, we're pretty big time.
As I said, we have the cash. We just use it really badly. Unless you're suggesting that spending, say, an extra £100,000 a season on a better coach would cause us to go into financial meltdown. We both know that a sniff of success would bring an increase in gates that would soon wipe that £100,000 off the balance sheet.
They don't need to change their fundamental strategy, merely employ a top coach and let him do his job.'"
Spending an extra £100k on a coach doesn't guarantee an improvement. And you've had a sniff of success - more than a CC win and GF appearance, increases in crowds look to have come on the back the move to the KC and the arrival in SL of the KuH derby. Even if you could get up to 13/14k consistently - did we ever establish how your deal with the SMC is structured?

I don't think anyone (even on this forum) is shallow enough to attack his personality. if they are then i think they are in the minority. as far as i'm concerned, in the words of don corleone, it is just business and not personal. i'm sure you're right, agar is a good bloke who has good intentions but i think he has had a fair shot at hull fc and proved he is not up to the job.
FWIW if we had been playing more entertaining or 'attractive' rugby then i think people may not have been so hard on him

agreed and needing somewhere to vent their upset, which i understand also..
Thankfully the faithful who have seen much worse than this are usually a bit more savvy and can see with all the talent we have in the squad its just a matter of time till someone gets a real tubbing by FC
