A lot of people have mentioned Brown and McGuire and how they've transformed Hudds and Wigan respectively . Price could do the same here with Hull . As sheldon has said Joe average as a player but done a great job through the ranks at St George .

| agar has to go simple as that, but as for coaches well noble would certainly improve us and install some good disclipline and id feel a whole lot more confident with him in charge but id like the board to be ambitious and go and get a aussie coach like taylor, anderson who aint in a job at the moment or a good young up and coming coach whos worked in a world class enviroment either way theres plenty of options out there. look at brown at hudds there team on paper isnt as good as ours but on the field there a whole lot better then us playing good attackive rugby and he gets the best out of players unlike our coach who he aint got the best out of anyone. as for long and fitz no simple

Might not have a choice this season though, we might have to wait until the end of the season to get the right man.

I think most fans would be ok with that scenario as long as the "right " appointment was made.

TBH,
The board dont fill me with confidence, with their previous appointments.
It wouldnt shock me, if they picked from:
Last
Webster.
McNamara
Darryl Powell.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "So cheeky. You've been supporting the appointment of Noble all this time and as soon as it threatens to become a >20% possibility you're changing horses? Just laziness on the avatar front, surely? Overtype Agar in your wheelie bin with Noble. Naughty.
It's fair comment from Jake though really. Given the limited vision and ambition that our board possess, Noble is the best we can realistically hope for and he is a million times better than what we currently have, so I'd be really pleased with his appointment. Whether I'd still be as pleased that he's in the job three years down the line is debatable.

| Ellery Hanley for me, he will have the respect of the players and he's done a good job at the teams he's coached, only trouble is he doesn't take any crap of the board so I don't think they would even consider him.

He's another one that wasn't apparently popular with the players when he was at Saints, but I'm sure he won the double with them, our most successful coach in recent years in Kear got the boot because some senior players didn't like him, Look at how popular Agar is with players such as Fitz and Ogre, being popular with the players definitely isn't the bee all and end all.

| Quote: Sheldon "Not much to know tbh, [sizea very average playing career (to say the least)[/size and he's worked his way through the coaching ranks at St George.
He was their u20's coach in 2009 and assistant to Bennett last year. If Bennett moves on he's expected to gave a chance at the ft position.'"
313 NRL games, 16 Australian caps and 28 games for Queensland is very average to say the least? What aren't I getting here? Everytime I saw him play he was immense. Is there more than one Steve Price? Captain of various teams, Player of the year by Rugby League Week magazine. 2004 Queensland player of the SOO series. In game 1 of the 2005 SOO series he was man of the match. 2007 he won 'Captain of the year, and Prop of the year at the Dally M awards. The guy is an utter legend, I wish to god we had more players in our squad with his "very average playing career"!
