On playing ability alone I'd have him in a heartbeat,it's an area were we really need to strengthen just not sure we need the baggage that comes with him.

It would be absolute bloody madness if we signed him. Its not as if he's a young lad who deserves a chance is it? I for one wouldn't want someone like him to keep a diamond like Rich Whiting out of the team, cos that's what could happen with Phelpsy on his way.
