4 the record i am not going friday night that makes me the mrs both our sons plus their partners /friends that sometimes tag along fair few quid you might say .i totaly accept and understand why some fans wil attend (no matter what dross is served up to us as top flight rugby league pmsl). i watch amateur rl most weekends local and national where i see more structured well coached commited teams then anything agar has inspired our obviously talented pool of players to produce.so here it is in a nutshell if you keep doing what you have allways done you will keep getting what you you allways got,in agars case failure

So anyone who is not going on Friday is a fair weather supporter? I have a pass and yes I am considering not going because the level of performance and the rugby being served up is dull and boring, and before you question my support or not been a true fan or a fair weather supporter have a read of this:

It's for these reasons that I am disappointed and getting slightly fed up, due to the effort I've gone through and still go through to attend every game home and away, and at the minute getting very little in return for my time and money! But if that makes me a fair weather supporter then I bow down to your superior super fan status! |

Fair point Jed you are clearly not a fair weather supporter but most of us are rather more than "disappointed and slightly fed up" and will still be attending the match so live up the award you won and get yourself there on Friday.

The reality is I said this for the Leeds game and many other games and still end up going  I just resent people having ago at fans who don't want to go for whatever reason it doesn't make them any less of a supporter and my previous post wasn't about proving I was a better supporter than anyone else or anything like that it was just to illustrate a point! |

I will be going on Friday but know some ardent fans who aren't bothering. That doesn't mean I look down on them as 'non fans' whilst considering myself as a 'super fan'. Everyone has a choice and it's down to the individual whether they choose to go or not - other people shouldn't judge them because of it.

Its called a freedom of choice.
To be quite honest I have a season pass and at the beginning of the week I was adament I would still attend the game as I had paid for season but as the week is getting on I have honestly thought the waste of my time is more of a factor. I turn down many opportunities due to the games but now after years of not even considering anything other than a Hull game I am at the stage of doing what I thought unthinkable and putting other things before a game.
Why the hell should I feel compelled to sit through more of the same, enough is enough at some point and many people have or are now reaching it. |
