| Its not going to happen this side of Easter, even if we lose by a cricket score the baord will hold faith. The longer this goes on the worse it does to FCs long term future because fans are now getting hacked off totally and with the current economic climate they will be less likely to buy a season pass come the end of the year.
The current slump is an ongoing one carried over from last year, with poor recruitment and vital positions left glaringly devoid of poroper cover. This can not be fixed mearly by sacking Rich Agar and appointing a new uber coach, the club needs restructering and the coaching being a seperate organisition to the executive.

100% agree mate ! I want Agar gone ASAP and if that means a couple of bad defeats, I'll support whoever we're playing. Not to mention the £100 I've got on Hudds today

It's not about being a better/truer fan. It's about being a fan at all.
I understand the justification being used. I just think it's bollox.

I don`t think anybody is implying they are a better fan.
The question was ,would I be happy for Hull to lose,so as an end to be rid of Agar.My reply is,speaking for myself, is no,I want Hull to win every game, impossible I know.

Sorry, but I can`t figure how any supporter would be happy for their team to lose,no matter what the circumstances.

Fair enough if you think it's bollox, but so is saying people who share my view aren't even fans. I'm not calling anyone who wants the team to win today.
IMO being a fan should never have to involve ignoring the bigger picture.

| Anyone who wants a successful Hull side, in the long term, should want rid of Agar ASAP. The sooner that happens, the better. With that in mind, I don't care who beats us or by how many.
This season is gone already as afar as actually being able to win anything. Roll on 2012 without Agar and his cronies !

I want Hull FC to win every game they play in. I can't stand losing.

I want Hull FC to be very successful in the long term. The short term is much less important.

Losing hurts too much. All this short and long term stuff is just noise.

IMO being a fan should never involve wanting your team to lose games, bigger picture or not. That's pretty much what defines being a fan in fact. Hence me not being able to see how those who want us to lose can call themselves fans.
And the really laughable part is that there's no guarantee it'll make any difference.
BTW I'm not sure that not having a pop at people who want their team to win is any kind of generous gesture.

Does "being a true fan" mean actually going to the odd game ?

| I find near impossible to hope Hull lose any match, I can well understand peoples reasons for wishing so. It does not make them bad fans or disloyal we all want the club to succeed it after all. Sometimes you need to have a lot of pain to achieve anything, its never been easy being an FC fan but we know when things arn't right.

If Rovers were level on points with Wigan at the top of the league with one game left and we were playing Wigan, wouldn't it be ok to want FC to lose then?'"
The red n shiites did that to us in the early 80's when they lost at leigh
