Why not? whats his price? after all, everyone has a price and your chairman has said "it will take some coin to shift him" so you must be prepared to sell. If not, your chairman wouldve been quoted as saying "he's unavailable at any price"

It all depends how desperate we are to get him and desperate your chairman is to get much needed funds in your coffers. Afterall, its not often transfer fees are paid nowadays and if your chairman does the maths and rakes in £300k (a realistic sum) for his 2 marquee players then he'll think hes done good business for the club.
