To be fair Wigan have done that to most teams this season, having won 20 out of 24.

No team would have lived them if they played like they did against us a couple of weeks ago.

I've watched Hull FC from the time David Doyle Davidson was head coach right through to the current one in Richard Agar. With regards being in the play offs for the first time in 3 years, so we bloody should be with a fully fit first team and the players in it. The way Wigan played against us wasn't anything special btw, it was the marked difference in attitude and execution between the 2 sides. All the Wigan team knew what they were doing and how they wanted to do it. Mark that with Hull FC's totally lacklustre and clueless performance of which there have been far too many under Agars tenure.

As usual the truth can be found somewhere inbetween.

We've had some really poor performances this season but we've also had some really good ones. We haven't had the personnel on the mythical "island" at times to play attractive rugby and I dont actually believe we have enough genuine ball handlers in the club to play that way anyway.

What I will say is that I've enjoyed this season far more than the previous 2.

I would add players who run off the ball, the only player we have who does this option running really well is Yeaman who opens up so much space for Manu and makes 'The Tansey Sweep' so effective.

If he was option running as well as you say I'd expect him to be backing up line breaks by players far better than he does.

I think all of us are "true fans" EXPRO, just most of us dont support the club wearing rose tinted glasses, but your right a GF is at stake ( ) and for that we have something to shout for!!

We are an average team, with a poorer attack than defence. I was talking to quins fans at half time telling them not to worry, they weren't out of it. I hoped that I was wrong.......When was the last time we scored 50 in SL? Our points difference to me, shows our level of ability. About average.

Aye a good while ago. I would have liked to see us stick it to a few teams this year. I would have liked us to really pummel quins by more after the first half. Happy with the result of course, but just don't see the ability of a star team.

It's not a star team. Other teams have overall better quality of players and more stars than we have - Wire/Wigan/Saints/Leeds.
It's a long, long time since Hull have had a star team, however it's a better team than it was in the last 2 years. The key will be whether this year's improvement can be continued.

Indeed it will. I think next year must be coonsolidation, then 2012 is when we have a pass recruitment potential due to the amount of players OOC. Let's hope next year we can kick on a bit, improve points difference, lower the number of injuries, and beat some teams by 40 points margin. That'll do me.
