Horne is just a passenger these days. Whether its down to injuries or ability I would like to think we are looking to replace Horne.

The difference is that I was willing to give him a few games to show whether he'd turned it around from last season. Doesn't look like he has, although he certainly wasn't 100% fit.

At the very least he needs to step aside until he [iis[/i 100% because ATM he's not producing the goods.

Reckon he's on min £100k p.a. and has another season to run after this one. We were too quick to offer him a 3 year contract after his injury in 2008. Has produced the odd flash of brilliance but his last great game was in 2004 which says it all

Long term I think we have in Turner, unfortunately I think we need something a lot sooner! I'd be tempted to give Turner a run of games at 6. Calderwood in for hall who will move to left centre, bin off yeaman, but 7 is the problem. Tansey? But then who goes to FB? I don't want Horne anywhere near the team ATM. We could move whiting there but who goes to Centre?

He is just holding us back now.

The simple option to me seems to be, 7.Berrigan 6. Washy/Turner and 9.Houghton. We don't need to panic.

but the thing is we are ,and we all had our reasons for this and just proved we were right with todays performance he cant produce without someone leading him around unfortunately

I believe Berro is more effective at 9

Which is why he should have never got a contract in 2008.

Id be less willing to move berro from 9 than Tansey from 1. I'm a firm believer that after your SH your 9 is the most important player.

Berrigan has good experience in the halves and would cause less disruptions.
