deapest condolances to his family and friends he was one of my hero's of the halcyon days of the club. he will be sadly missed by everyone who came in contact with him. he was one of the hardest players i've ever seen never took a backward step and the first one in if any fisty cuffs started {one in all in} i heard him shout in one game

R.I.P. Ronnie. I remember attending my first ever game with my Dad and just as we reached the top of Gordon Street terracing the first scrum of the game was forming. Before the ball went in the scrum broke up to reveal the opposing team's hooker out cold and Ronnie looking innocently at the Ref. Will never forget an absolute legend and from that day this fan's favorite.

What a hero Ronnie was. A good player who Arthur managed to get to perform week in week out. Far too young to go, but he is in good company upstairs.
I will always remember that fantastic try at Headingley watching it from the South stand with mum and dad and the rest of the family. Fantastic.
RIP Ronnie.
