I think the club have managed to avoid "the recession" having an impact by getting things organised early, a heck of a lot of people will buy shirts now as Christmas presents, and then in the run up to Christmas come and buy something else (and away shirt, for example).
So, and I hope you are sitting down Wilf etc, credit to FC for getting their commercial act together early.

to be fair to all those running the retail side of things, they've had their acts together for a good few years now.
and having major sponsors such as P&O tied to a long deal helps greatly, in years gone by the whole shirt would be delayed whilst they searched for a sponsor.

| when to [pick up season passes today ,,when into the shop the home shirt only go up to 3xxx they are waiting for 4/5 XXX to come in 2 or 3 days time.I think people might find them a bit tight ? >> My lad gets the 2XX but the 3 XX ..he wanted more room but its people preference  |
