I'm happy with the squad as it stands. I understand the concerns over the half back cover but Washbrook, Tansey, Whiting and Turner can all fit it there.
A smaller squad with a number of higher paid players and less 'mid range' players has done Saints OK in recent years.

Although the squad for next year looks good, there are 12 players out of contract at the end of next season. Should be a good season if Long can stay fit.

You get upto 50k discounted off the cap in total for players serving past 10 years. The RFL doesnt pay the player the 50k you still need to pay it as a club, effectively giving you 50k extra on top of the cap. |
