Nope. We had an all black Away kit (my favorite) a few seasond ago. The reason we changed to poofy blue was because the players were too hot in a dark kit in the summer months. But the white shirt with black vee would do.

Someone posted on here earlier in the thread about the ruling and I think the main colour on the 2006 shirt was white.

Yes - so our 2 kits were black and white. What's the difference? Can't think of any club which would clash with all white except perhaps Rovers and Saints. In my opinion, we should always play the derbies in the 2 Home strips and why not play in our hoops against Saints?

I actually think this whole "Away" strip thing is a bit of a misnomer - it should be "alternative" strip. There have been some appalling clashes when teams have worn their "away" kits to venues where the "home" strip is similar, and have had to change at half time. I'd be happier playing in Black and White hoops every match unless that causes a conflict at certain teams eg Widnes, in which case only then should the alternative strip be brought out.

Actually the RFL refer to it as the "alternative" strip which is required to have a different "base" colour to the principle strip.

Good. So we could have a white strip with black irregular hoops for our main kit, and a black strip with a white vee as the alternative. Or vice versa
