| 1 Tansey
6 Horne
7 Long
13 Washbrook
Think Horne will be better next season alongside Long. Long does his best work in the middle of the pitch allowing Horne to play further out wide.

Imo people would of been calling for him to be released, if he wasn't Mr. Hull FC.'"
You think so? I'd prefer to think our fans are a little more knowledgeable than that TBH.

| Hate to say it but Horney isn't worth his place and needs to kick on next season as we'll have options provided the injury curse lays off us for a change. Tansey has been quality and looks well able to play 1 or 6. I wanted him to play 1 but i can see the logic at 6.

| if rich had some forwards who could do what they were paid for and actually go forward you might see the lad who set a superleague record for consecutive games scored in actually doing what hes paid for!

so you pay a fortune for for a player that can only perform if the rest of the team excels? Seems a bit short-sighted to me.

| I spoke to Richard Horne before the Quins match and asked him where he preferred playing; he was VERY clear that he sees himself as a half-back and not a fullback. He said he enjoys playing in the halves much more and on that basis I think he'll carry on there.
FWIW good players don't just become crap overnight. He's had a terrible couple of seasons, but when you take into account his injuries/illness, the fact that Cooke moved on leaving him to direct the team and that he's been playing behind a beaten pack I think it's understandable. Everyone knows Horne is a running half rather than an organisational player and with Long alongside him next season I'm hoping we'll see Richard back to his best.

Well said, we saw how much we missed him last year. He will be a different player next year alongside Long. He has played behind a well beaten pack for the majority of this season and I expect that to be different next year.

46752_1286881857.jpeg Looking for an exciting brand of rugby league!
Some how, some day it will come.........:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_46752.jpeg |

| Tansey wants to play fullback!. His linkage into attacking play is great and his defensive postioning is great. Why move someone just to accomadate Horney he plays like a shadow of his former self and looks thinner than kev brown. Washbrook will become a great 6 next to long and is showing he has a creative spark already, which playing next to a world class 7 will come on further. Turner has good hands and runs strong through gaps and has great reveiws at playing 13.
Pivots for next year for me would be
1.Tansey
6.Washy
7.Long
13.Turner
Youthful but with good experience

| I too believe that next season Tansey will be pushing hard for England recognition. Offers so much more than Briscoe with ball in hand and as time goes by you will see all other aspects of his game improve. Yet another in the long list of quality players we have picked up from Leeds, we get Tansey, carvell, Raynor etc and the Dobbins get Murrell. They always have to copy everything we do off the field but never quite get it right

How rude of me , but he is a Hull lad though along with Netherton, seems that any player who leaves Hull and goes to Leeds is of interest to Mr Hudgell no matter what the quality is like.
