which we, as the buyers, would pick up. Listen the point is there are options and i, for one, would not mind paying extra to get one as so that the club can give the directors more yatchs and houses...i dont really care. I just want them to realise the potential of further options thats all

| Quote: Fc Til I Die 316 "lol... i understand you point fella. i said earlier i wont be buying anything next year and i will invest in the stamp scheme. this means i will not be going to at least half the games but it will be worth it in 2011.
I believe the club are to introduce a direct debit scheme this closed season which might help. On the general principle I see your point and have sympathy with a lot of folks who are finding it tough to get passes, however it did state that when you buy one you get benifits so I guess this is one of them!

Wouldn't it be much easier for the club to throw the occassional player event where you can just buy tickets?
Either that or maybe have some sort of loyalty card (for a fee) that gives you entrance to passholder events, discount at the shop and 2nd level priority for cup tickets (next in line behind passholders).
Personally I don't have a problem with passholders getting special treatment. They provide guaranteed revenue to the club at the start of every season.

| I've got loads of ideas for both fan appreciation and also bringing in new/occassional fans (mostly half-inched from the numberous Torotno-based sports franchises I frequent).
You wouldn't believe how popular the $1 hot dog nights are here. I went to the last one and I'd say it almost doubled the attendance. They had reduced ticket prices also by a few dollars, but the amount of extra seats sold and all the extra food/drink sold will have far outweighed that small discount.
Hopefully then the product on the field is enough to entice a few back. I appreciate that now may not be the right time for FC to put on something like this given the dire stuff we've been churning out. I also appreciate that the quality of the food would have to improve to make it appealing.
Giveaway games are also popular (hats, bags, t-shirts, bobbleheads) and the costs can be covered (or shared) through having the items provided by sponsors.

Silly ideas but ideas all the same, generate interest is the main thing. Especially for kids as they are the future supporters!

Just a bit gutted thats all. Its like they like you more the more money you put in, which is fine, but all they hear about is how many season passes are sold. they dont hear about people like me who arranged a coach for wembley last year to get loads of people, who would not have gone otherwise, to go. that increased merchandise etc so even tho i put in as much as i can afford i still promote fc at work and make them money...ah well. i know what they will say anyway. "Hull Fc appreciate your views...thankyou for contacting Hull FC" end of

I've got loads, I'll try and fire off an email with some of the better/cheaper options later today if I have time.

as i say i will get the stamps next season for 2011 just wont be buying jack from the shop thats all'"
Standee was suggesting opening a card with a 0% offer such as Marks and Spencer, Tesco and some others. So you'd be able to spread the payments over the 9/12months and it woulden't cost you anymore. You'd just have to be strong willed and only use it for your pass and nothing else after that.
and he was also right that the club can't win if they start giving finance, if they don't chase people they get left with the cost, but if they employ a company to do so they'd be criticized for 'sending the bailiffs round' they are best just avoiding the whole scenario IMO
