some just havent got a clue have they? the posts on here regarding Horne and embarassing, agree hes had a poor season, but with noone to feed of, whet the frek he going to do perform the odd miracle? not a clue have they?

Horne has been poor for weeks, sometimes players have bad patches. Stick with him and he will come good again, if he is going to stay at his current weight then he needs to start defending much wider.

Release Motu and use his wages to bring in a creative SO that can actually pass the ball and move Horne to FB.

Have the club not noticed his playing weight is far less these days and he cant cope with defending their anymore? Clueless at times.

Would be ideal in my view although can't Tansey play in the halves ? Is he creative enough ? Would take pressure off Horney who would get broken field running options, although his kick returns would have to be worked on as these were not impressive in his stint there earlier this season.

If we move Horne to FB I'd prefer us to go for an out-and-out creative 6 rather than rely on a player who 'can play in the halves' as we might not end up any better off.

I haven't seen enough of Tansey to get a real feel for his style of play. Is he sufficiently different from Horne for it to make a difference which of them plays 6 or FB?

If it was a choice between Tansey and Horne I would leave Horne at SO with Tansey at FB. I'm thinking more of a Trent Barrett style SO. I agree Horne's kick return needs work but with a bigger pack it wouldn't be as vital IMO.

Me too. FWIW I think Tansey will play FB as he has done in the NRL. Remember being fairly impressed with him at Leeds although cant really remember where in the backs was playing - swapped around a bit ? Strong and fairly quick don't know if he has the guile we need in the halves.

He played at FB a bit and also interchange hooker IIRC. Not sure he would be the answer at SO.

I wouldn't play Tansey in the halves, he does not have the creativity tbh. He plays well out of dummy half and from fullback and whilst he could do a job in the halves I would rather have him at fullback and Horne at SO.
