G.Horne created a try for Raynor like no other player in our squad could tonight. To have a go at him is typical of how ridiculous our fan base has become.

The pack did great tonight against a big team and once again our pivotal players couldn't create to put the points on the board our forwards deserved. Sean long would of had a field day out there tonight.'"
Deluded.

| To be fair though G.Horne should have passed to Raynor and it would have been 18.6 and game over, but he still had a good game. Raynor,Tony and Yeaman was outstanding taking the ball in tonight and Tickle put some tremendous tackles in. But it was still a grind and Thorman was terrible again.

I cant believe what I have just read. You do nowt but slag the club off then come on here having a go at me and claiming our fan base is ridiculous. If you read it again the Gidley-esque bit is a compliment to the way he created a try for Raynor. That doesn't alter the fact he made a glaring mistake in not passing to him again which Gidley would have done. Horne had a decent game but top centres don't make those errors and it's why we need a top centre.

| Long wouldn't have made that much difference last night. We are so flat in attack with no dummy runners etc that he'd have nothing to work with. I could train 13 chimps to come up with better attacking moves than Agar does with his team.
The atmosphere at the game was terrible. Most people sat near me in the East Stand had no interest in the game whatsoever and were only there because they were passholders and had already paid.
If the same garbage is served up for the remaining 5 home games we'll be lucky to sell 4000 passes next season.

Time and time again we were way too deep in attack in the second half.

| I thought that other than in their 20 it was pretty good imo. The forwards went well (I much prefare Radford at prop), the defence was pretty good (hell there was even a bit of line speed) and the effort was much better imo. However it was the same old story of looking clueless on the oppositions line. I think Salford are not getting the credit they deserve because they played well, however there are not many other teams that we would have beaten. Probably only Celtic, Bradford and Rovers.
So in summary, an improvement but we need to learn how to cross the line once in a while or else we won't be winning too many more.

| I think i must have seen things differently. I saw the intention last night from the 1st touch of the game to rectify the issues weve had all season.
IMO we:
-moved away from 5 drives and a kick, even though it was slow and laboured its a step in the right direction
-showed good line speed in defence lead excellently by Radford and Berrigan
-fought to get up for a ptb, and if it werent for the ref allowing salford to get away with murder we would have done it more too
-moved away from starting with 3 props. I'd have still rather Whiting played 13 but thought we looked more balanced with Tickle there.
-used our interchanges better. Would have still not had 2 hookers on the bench but players were better used imo
Still loads to work on but i did see positive signs last night for the first time all season. (it was almost like either Agar wasnt in charge last night or it was his last desperate throw of the dice)

Spot on, but the more they work on it the more it will come naturally.

Agree 100%. (the ironic thing however is that Radford has always played as a prop. Just the psychological impact previously of us expecting different things from someone named at 13)

He justified his selection in that role in front of Whiting for me. However Tickle never justified why he was selected at 13 in front of Whiting for me.
