| Obviously Rovers fans will vote for Agar, but the tub of lard is definately a better option.

| I dont agree with millward. He inherited an already very good saints team which we are not. A more direct comparison would be wigan, who couldnt get rid quick enough.

Interesting but the problem is that he would be regarded as untested and therefore a risk, would the fans be happy with that? Might come a bit cheaper though which the board would like, although they probably have not even heard of Dymock.

The safe choice would be John Lang as he rebuilt Penrith up from wooden spooners to premiers, that said i think he is too old school and given his age he may not want to be a head coach again.

Lang has had his time I think. More likely to be Folkes tbh, not sure how mch he would improve us, he did well with the doggies but he had an awesome roster, especially forwards.

Rubbish.
Millward was one of the best SL attacking coaches in the game.

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |
|
| Lots of names being banded around here, but some would be very unlikely to happen due to career aspirations they have in oz (Kearny) or due to the fact that they already coach one of the top teams in the world (Hasler).
Once Agar gets the sack, hopefully around lunchtime today, the club needs to look at coaches that are currently available and would bring fresh ideas to the table. The first 3 names on my list would be
Graham Murray – been very successful on both sides of the world with a number of different clubs.
Steve Folkes – cut the mustard for over 10 years with the bulldogs and always had them competitive.
Royce Simmons – blast from the past I know, but the guy is available and threw his hat into the ring for the giants job. He is a hardliner who would not tolerate the current lack of effort and commitment that we currently see served up week after week.
