People say Agar should be out because
a) He can't motivate the team - He clearly can because they came out in the second half all guns blazing, if they didn't want to play for him they wouldn't have being trying so hard.
b) His tactics are rubbish, 1 up rugby - Don't think anyone can say that after the last 2 games, we look like we are a lot better in attack with Tony/Raynor back in the team.
c) His interchanges - Much improved tonight for me.
Only thing you can say tonight is Radford playing 13.
How much can we say it's down to Agar? These are mostly the same set of players that Sharp had, who got him sacked. Are the players just not good enough?'"
There in lies the problem with your post. Last time I looked RL was an 80 minute game. NOT A 40 MIN GAME. You don't get points for winning a half. We were woeful in the first half. Thats when they should be motivated not when the game is lost and the opposition are already in the pub celebrating.
I was expecting a good competative game tonight. I turned up looking forward to it. From the minute we kicked off and ground out 35 yeards from our first 5 tackles and then kicked out on the full the writing was on the wall. Simply bloody awful and an insult to those of us who foolishly spent our hard earned following them again.
