So, are they not allowed to make a profit from their investment(eventually), and not meant to expect their loansto be repaid?
So, when the cub struggl we can expect directors to pump their own money in, but when we do well they can't take any of tha money back?
Hardly fair.

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

| Quote: CHURCHILL "As much as I understand your frustrations, aren't you kind of walking away when the club needs you most, as in support.
What happend to in any kind of weather?'"
Totally agree. I would like to use your club/fans as an example of what could happen when people walk away. If all of the 7500 regulars who now attend your games actually attended games throughout the 90's, instead of now claiming they did, maybe you would not have been in the wilderness for so long.
I, like many others am fed up to the back teeth with the tripe that I have to witness on a regular basis. I find myself questioning my support and for the first time wondering if it is all worthwhile. Will I walk away? I very much doubt it, but if I did, only to return when the good days came back, I would have the balls to admit that I was once a deserter.

| I aint walking away from the club, like many of us i have seen far worse, i have my pass therefore i will be attending the home games, i won't however be spending silly money on merchandise (which i have already started doing so this season!!!).
I love this club and i'll support it forever more....still cheesed off though!

the big difference for me is that when I've seen bad Hull sides before (the end of the 90s for example) its been down to lack of money, and playing in a poor ground, whenever there was any success they'd sell off key players to stay afloat etc
now things are different because we have such big resources, yet are just being mismanaged
people are only getting so worked up about the club because they care, we were 80mins from being SL champions, now we are so far away we may as well be in National League 1.

won't be cheap
likewise Horne, Byrne, Cusack, Tony, Radford, Tickle, Manu etc.
The only issue I have is the money available for a coach.

| it's just a shame that there is no relegation
then the club would have to do some thing instead of just blowing hot air, i.e we won the cup we were in the final etc that is history we want success today as well.
oh what an embarrasment how rovers have caught up and overtaken us in 2 seasons, where will thay be in the next 2 seasons while we wallow at the lower end

| First of all this post isn't aimed necessarily at the op, but at the whinging fans in general. The club owe its fans nothing, the amount of people who expect the club to wait on them hand and foot, it really es me off. "Why havn't we been told about injuries," "we are the heart of this club," "I'm not spending my hard earned money when they can't be bothered."
I don't give a fook, and tbh its boring. You know what you are letting yourselves in for when you buy a ticket, if the team plays well and we win, then great, if not, its disappointing, but never mind you've seen a game and thats what you went for. No one makes you buy a ticket for a game, you do it out of choice, so when someone says we deserve better than we are getting, why? No one makes you go to games. If you don't think players are putting in effort then thats you opinion, but the reality is that this is a strong league we are in now, you look down the table and with the exception of Celtic you honestly don't know what the results are going to be. It's sport, some people do well and end up at the top, but unfortunatly for every winner there is a loser and you can't be happy all of the time. You have the best stadium in the league, will be in superleague indefinately in effect and because we've hit a bad patch people think the club is a "disgrace." Get a grip, this is a fantastic club and tbh the people who sit and hurl abuse at the players don't deserve to be accosiated with Hull FC.
As I've mentioned already this is sport, its entertainment, yet peoples jobs are on the line and people want coaches and players to be sacked just so that they can have bragging rights over Rovers. Someone mentioned in this thread about us being run like a football club. Who is responsible for that then? I'll let you work it out.

Spot on, as usual. Apart from the bit highlighted - only 2 winners and 12, or probably 13 losers.
IMO those suddenly withdrawing their support from the team in a sulk because we're not winning are akin to the Rovers fans deserting their club when they were in the mire, but are possibly worse - at least they waited until relegation. The team, for all its shortcomings in terms of creativity, are trying their best. Some are being inappropriately used due to the large number of unavailable players - Manu is being flogged to death and unable to produce his usual impact, Hall is out of position and low in confidence, Dowes is out on his feet after being played for 70 minutes week in week out, but you can't say they're not putting the effort in. Regardless of what you think of the coaching set-up, the team on the pitch needs support on the terraces more now than ever. Just my opinion, obviously, but abandoning ship now just looks a bit spoilt.
