I'd look to loan fash out to a championship club and see if we can get shorrocks or bullock in

Apparently the quota exemption is much more likely to pass. Don’t think it means much for us. Don’t think we’ll go for Stone, Nikorima could be interesting but doesn’t pass the worked with Cartwright test like the other overseas recruits and is hardly proven. Lafai and Marsters maybe think we’ll stick with Cross as our centre target.

Cross and Nikorima would be good pick ups. But is Nikorima worth more than a one year deal, as he would take up our last quota spot for 2026?

Nikorima was linked to us last year. He's probably worth a one year deal and then he can prove his worth. Issue is clubs are in a predicament as to when the quota exemption will apply and for how long. Fact is we can't go into the season with Sezer and Cust. Then Charles and Kemp as back up. It scuppered us last year!

I would say two to three years which at least gives clubs a bit of time to plan around it.

If the quota dispensation passes I'd look at Shane Wright too, be a handy pick up for us. Nikorima an obvious choice if we need a running 6

I’ve actually liked the little what I’ve seen of him but he’s had baggage in the past and got a lot less NRL game time then Cust over a much longer period in the lower grades. Not sure he’s worth a quota spot beyond a short term deal. Maybe I’m reading way too much into it but the only thing that makes me think we might have something up our sleeves with a halfback is the wording in Bowers article that we’ve backed away from the Sneyd deal. More then likely just wanting to save face knowing Sneyd not interested, but you never know can’t see anyone else potentially available other then Nikorima and that’s only if the quota exemption is voted through.

I'm not sure if we have something up our sleeve, as it's near impossible to get a decent halfback without a quota spot. Agree with Nikorima, he would offer a running threat to go with Seizer and I was told we were close to signing him on loan last year, until Salford offered him a longer deal.

Nikorima is the sort of half we need for sezer, for me we got to go for Nikorima, cross and bullock

I guess it could be read a number of ways to suit whichever view anyone has. Wish him all the best in whatever the future holds for Jordan.

Unfortunately wouldn't expect to see him playing in Super League anytime soon, a big shame for a very talented player.

The only chance for Abdul would probably be Salford, would get him cheap, but they would player registration lifted. On Nikorima, think we will have to use our Sao quota spot for 26 on a stand off, so if the club thinks he is the right player than getting him on a longer deal would make sense.

Can’t see Hull signing Nikorima, the player himself on paper is what we need, running 6, NRL experience, however, he is by all accounts a ‘bad egg’ and wouldn’t be a welcome addition to the culture they are trying to build, Kemp is getting big, big raps in pre season, maybe this is why they’ve stepped back from Sneyd..Sneyd would only be a short term solution at his age now

Maybe just coincidentally timing tweeting that so soon after Abdul officially confirmed as leaving. Could potentially be heading back to the capital. Or maybe Jack Walker.

Keep is still eligible for the academy, like Charles last year, think he is a year or two off, even as a back up.
