| If & , hopefully , when Agar goes will any superleague club give him a head coaches job? I can't see it. Has there ever been any competition for his services? Just makes it so bizarre that we fell over ourselves to give him the job and then extend it.

If Agar is left to carry on, picking up say a 40 - 50% win ratio (or even worse) and then removed nearer the end of the season you will instill an instant feel good factor going into the media hype for 2012.'"
Isnt finishing in the top 8 and winning a playoff game worth some money the way were going at the moment we dont look like making the 8 so a new coach now could make all the difference.
The earlier we change the coach the better, gives him time to implement changes leave it too late and the season could well be already over for us.

Fair point but at the moment just him going would be a positive on the basis a change is as good as a rest. A temorary arrangement - as we should have done when Sharp went - for a few months with Webster and Long say would get us through to the middle of the year when announcements could be made to get that boost for 2012.

As I understand it final league positions are relevant factor in deciding what grade of licence you get.
Its definitely the weakest part of the criteria so far as Hull FC is concerned.

I think (and this will come as a huge suprise to everyone) that the RFL have changed the criteria, and scrapped the A/B/C banding.

| Tony, Blacklock, Yeaman, Whiting, Raynor, R. Horne, Brough, Dowes, Swain, Carvell, McMenemy, Kearney, Cooke. Replacements: Thackray, King, Chester, Saxton.
We all know the match this team sheet relates to.
Man for man, probably not too much difference to the current set up in terms of individual ability.
The difference is that everybody to a man is in their correct position and so crucially we have a top 6,7,9 and 13 all where they should be.
It really is quite a simple game isn't it.

That'd work, but I think the 8 is pretty much there for you anyway, I'd be v.surprised if you missed out. Wakey and Crusaders started -4, Catalans and Salford look really poor and Quins will fade badly when the pitches harden up. That would leave 9 teams fighting for 8 places, would be really shocked if FC weren't in there.

Easy for you to say You're probably right but 8th then what? 9th , makes no difference really and that's the problem we know we ain't going to win anything or even get close. Just don't see the point of waiting for the inevitable and losing more bums on seats in the meantime.

| Wakey and Crusaders may have started on -4 but that deficit has already been halved after two games. If things don't change at the club there's no way we'll make the top eight - the opening two performances of the season tell you that much. There's clearly not much heart, spirit or cohesion in the squad and it stands out like a sore thumb. We were brilliant at Saints on the opening night of 2010 but at the minute a performance like that (with pretty much the same squad of players) seems a million miles away.

| I made a mess of that. As I was saying at Cardiff 05 Blacklock was fullback and Tony was on the wing
