| Good luck to Liam on his international call up, he was great for us and tasted success, but for whatever reason, the club deemed in its best interests, a parting of the ways was necessary, no one player is bigger than the club.

Whatever happened with watts at hull we will never really know - all sort of rumours about fall out with players in OZ etc but radders knew what he was getting rid of - a top 4 UK prop. it cannot have been easy letting him go but radders seems to sort out most wayward culture so have to back him. watts will NOT be coming back under current regime.'"
I meant a player like Watts is what we need, but we made money and Powell has done a better job of managing him than Radford, it is strange how different managers can get more out of players.

| how do you know hes done a better job? he was with us a long time and Radford managed him fine, then he seemed to go of the rails if rumours are true, made his place untenable at hull so we let him go, maybe hes realised that he needs to toe the line, good luck to him,

There is no coincidence that players have left Hull and grown up, equally players like Connor came in with a not so great record and have done well.
RL is a bit like A levels, for some it comes along a bit too early.

| Don’t understand the fuss over Powell.
He’s not developed any more players than a lot of other coaches.
Needs to develop a bit of class when he loses as well.

Doesn't have a habit of winning trophies though.

| Joel Thompson is OOC at the end of the season would be an ideal replacement for Manu.

Watts was at Hull fron 2012 and played well for many years. Radford was his Boss from 2014 onward. It’s widely accepted that Watts should have been called up a few years ago.
Powell has not got more out of Watts and has been his manager for 12 months. Watts now plays for his home town. To bag Radford for this is wrong.

Yet he is now in the England squad under Powell

And the point is what exactly???
Watts has not improved as a player. He is playing the same as he did when he was at Hull. To suggest that Powell gets something different out of Watts is just plain wrong.

| Dont think Watts is playing any better under Powell than he was under Radford but I think his attitude has certainly improved. I think Radford was always an aggressive type player and has tried to instill this in his players and perhaps Watts has reacted to this more than other players. Also people say Radford is a bullying type of person which may also be the reason Abdull left. Different people need managing in different ways and I think Radford only knows one way

| No better player think he as on the verge a couple of times, then did something silly on the pitch, seems to have stopped that at Cas Hull selling him might have given him the kick up the backside
If anything Radford really improved him, when we signed him, he was a decent prop with potential and during his time at Hull he became one of the best props in the league.
